Historia
Stuart Stevens spent decades electing Republicans at every level, from presidents to senators to local officials. He knows the GOP as intimately as anyone in America, and in this new book he offers a devastating portrait of a party that has lost its moral and political compass. This is not a book about how Donald J. Trump hijacked the Republican Party and changed it into something else.

Excellent, honest, and scathing
Revisado: 08-14-20
The book was excellent. My only complaint is that the author repeated himself word-for-word way too many times throughout the course of the book. That said, please read / listen to this book.

Historia
Conspiracy theories are as old as politics. But conspiracists today have introduced something new - conspiracy without theory. And the new conspiracism has moved from the fringes to the heart of government with the election of Donald Trump. In A Lot of People Are Saying, Russell Muirhead and Nancy Rosenblum reveal how the new conspiracism differs from classic conspiracy theory, why so few officials speak truth to conspiracy, and what needs to be done to resist it.

Performance is boring
Revisado: 02-19-20
The performance is stilted and lifeless. It makes dry material unlistenable. I was very excited by the premise of this book, but it’s not remotely enjoyable to listen to it.

Don't call about "The Book" Grant Mentions

Miserable listen from a self-important salesman
Revisado: 10-08-19
It’s hard to overstate how bad this audio-book is. Grant can’t stay on topic, the tangents offer nothing meaningful, and his main points are completely void of substance.
This book is the equivalent of locker room hype music - completely lacking in substance, but some people will absolutely get amped up by it.

Historia
A young, naïve but ultimately courageous hedge knight, Ser Duncan the Tall towers above his rivals—in stature if not experience. Tagging along is his diminutive squire, a boy called Egg—whose true name is hidden from all he and Dunk encounter. Though more improbable heroes may not be found in all of Westeros, great destinies lay ahead for these two . . . as do powerful foes, royal intrigue, and outrageous exploits. Featuring more than 160 all-new illustrations by Gary Gianni, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a must-have collection that proves chivalry isn’t dead—yet.

Unbelievable!
Revisado: 05-16-19
Harry Lloyd does a marvelous job of bringing to life George’s wonderful characters. Though I love the sprawling epics of the main A Song of Ice and Fire series, I can’t say enough positive things about this collection of “novellas.” Easy 5/5!
