It's good we have his books in his voice despite him being gone. I love that some of his best material from his stand up is in here as well as other things I've never heard. If you need a laugh as well as some food for thought, you could do better than George Carlin.

Not Very Satisfying

Along with being kind of boring, the audiobook has repeated chapters which hurt the listening experience. The narrator wasn't the problem and he did well with the material. All of the stereotypical traits of Dean Koontz's writing is here and having spun good stories with suspenseful sequences, this wasn't one of them. It's just a little too long and didn't feel very "full".

Interesting to say the least

I like to pick up all sorts of novels that span all sorts of genres and I was honestly surprised to find out that books and stories were out on DDLG and ect. I'm not into any of it but do enjoy authors being experimental, pushing taboos, and of coarse offering a better understanding of certain subjects. I've certainly tried other titles but was put off do to their need to immediately make it all about the perversion. While books like that do serve a purpose, I wasn't wanting that. This is pretty okay. The subject wasn't spectacular and hasn't altered my interests but I can see why it might for other readers who are interested. The story, despite the taboo nature, isn't unique but is well executed and what more could you ask for, right? The narrator did a great job and this Audiobook is worth a purchase, listen, and read.

Great and believable chemistry between the characters and the performers. I'm already waiting to pre-order the next title in this series. I recommend it.

I always like her novels but I truly appreciate the work when Lili lends her voice to her characters. Something about her vocals lends more to the story and the character she reads for. I think it's like that with all authors and reading their work. They know how it supposed to sound and its awesome when they can deliver.

I've never been let down by any of her stories and this was no different. I like the characters, the story, and I'm looking forward to the oncoming titles in this series. Fun and entertaining.

First Title I've ever read by Dean Koontz

I decided to purchase the audio book of this despite owning two copies. It's not his best, not my favorite, but I have a soft spot for this title since it's my first read of this Author. I like it. Worth your time. The story isn't strong but it is engaging and entertaining.

A great listen

I just started Audible and the Odd series was my go to because I never got the chance to read them and I intend to finish it. Dean Koontz was the first Novelist I ever read and his stories are always satisfying. I loved being able to listen to a book while driving. This app is great and Odd Thomas is a great beginning to a interesting character who leads an unusual life. Loved it. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys turbulent stories with heroes who aren't cardboard cut-out action heroes.
