Historia
Can you succeed in business when your strength is more about sensitivity than swagger? If you’re moved by meaning, more than manipulation? In other words: Can you succeed while still being you? Christine Kane is living proof that the answer is yes. Far too many of us have swallowed the notion that business owners have to be a certain way to be successful - strategy-obsessed, data-driven, and relentlessly aggressive.

Relatable, Vulnerable. Honest. Different.
Revisado: 12-10-20
While I appreciate the DO IT BE AMAZING GET IT DONE 10X YOUR LIFE advice, gotten from any number of authors, this book FINALLY tells the truth: All business IS personal. You can’t shut off emotions to accommodate the assumed appropriate corp-culture, and — gasp — it’s OK!!. But you can work through it, resolve it and grow from it.
Oh, and btw, fabulous business ideas and strategies to start, jump-start or grown your business. And you CAN be a business entrepreneur, no matter what your “personality type” is, if you are willing to do what’s necessary and delegate the rest. This is the business book I’ve been waiting for. Personal and client stories makes it real and entertaining. Thank you Christine!

Historia
Meet Ove. He's a curmudgeon - the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him "the bitter neighbor from hell". But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness.

One of the best books I've listened to. Ever.
Revisado: 02-09-16
I would never have picked this book up on my own. This was a book my book club chose, and after listening a 2nd time I think it's even better than the first. I would never have thought I could relate to a man like Ove, (pronounced Oooh-Vah) but he is that person I wish lived across the street from me, that my kids could meet and my family love.
It's just a great book. Just go listen to it or read it. And go buy a SAAB.
