Historia
Should I Stay or Should I Go? is a survival manual, a guidebook, and a shot of reality. Some people will never change, and kissing frogs is the stuff of fairy tales, not real life. The Beast never turns out to be a nice guy (or gal). This is a book that breaks down what mean people do to us, how they do it, and what we can do to survive.

Best for healing
Revisado: 04-10-25
Also applicable to those of us who are trying to heal after being hurt and abandoned by avoidant, selfish, and/or abusive partners. One of the most empathetic and realistic books. Good insights and advice, no fillers unless most other self-help books. Helped me greatly in these dark days

Historia
An estimated 47 million Americans identify as having an anxious attachment style, which can make being in relationships turbulent and emotionally taxing for them. According to groundbreaking research in the field of attachment, anxious types are more prone to insecurity, jealousy, codependency, and other behaviors that get in the way of finding and sustaining love.

Not useful
Revisado: 09-03-24
Little useful info. Mostly rehashed info and empty space fillers after a good opening chapter of personal experience. Waste of time and money. Wish I could return.

Skip the first chapter. The rest is very good. More of a podcast than audiobook

Historia
Most of us are unable to develop our capacities for love on the only level that really counts — a love that is compounded of maturity, self-knowledge, and courage. Learning to love, like other arts, demands practice and concentration. Even more than any other art, it demands genuine insight and understanding.

Ok book
Revisado: 02-02-24
A bit outdated in its framework. Good theoretical background but heavy on Christianity. A couple insights but not many.
