Offensive language
Revisado: 05-20-18
Why do authors assume we want to hear bad language? It really takes away from the story. I never finish a book with offensive language. No story is worth being subject to that.

Would be awesome if not for foul language
Revisado: 06-30-16
several times i had to turn it off because i felt like i was being assaulted by foul language. i came back because the story line was so good. really, do authors really believe that foul language enhances their work? it is like creative genius interrupted by childish filth.

Offensive content

The story line is interesting, but must the author include bad language and explicit description of someone’s masturbation? Seriously?

Clever title. Uplifting book.
Revisado: 07-21-12
What made the experience of listening to Lord of the Ringless the most enjoyable?
The content and the exceptional narrator's performance.
What did you like best about this story?
It was very uplifting and enjoyable. Can be applied to every day life.
Have you listened to any of Julie Williams’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, this was one of the best. Julie is my favorite female narrator and my favorite male is Guidall. I believe I'd listen to just about anything these two vocal talents voice.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Pretty much every one of these devotionals has something in it that moves me.
I find it very uplifting to listen to while driving to release stress and keep me focussed on God instead of problems.
Any additional comments?
I do wish the author had an editor who is a grammar expert.

Love a Christmas story
Revisado: 07-20-12
Would you listen to A Home for Christmas again? Why?
Maybe. Might listen every year or two.
Would you recommend A Home for Christmas to your friends? Why or why not?
Probably. I especially like Christmas stories that I can listen to or watch every year to get into the season.
What does Julie Williams bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The accents are pretty good. I hate an obviously fake southern accent as I've lived in the south for most of my life. She does a pretty good job of it. Emotion in the voice really makes the story come alive more than words on a page do.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
I don't know, but it would probably be something about not losing hope waiting for love.
Any additional comments?
Story is just a little sappy, especially at the end. But I do love a good Christmas story. And people who are really into romance will love it.

First one I've heard on audible.

Not sure. I guess anything with mystery intrigues me.

No favorite
What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?

Any additional comments?
I loved the performer's voice. It was so easy to listen to. I've actually returned audio books to the library because I cannot stand listening to the person reading!!! This one is really good and I'd like to listen to more of her books. I will search for them.
