Life for the community inside the Fence, ruled over by the new aristocracy, the Verified, is a perpetual party. Outside the Fence, in downtown Los Angeles, the Verified use an invented mythology to control the mindless and nameless Drifters, Shamblers, and Bottle Bangers who serve the gift economy until no longer needed.

Truly a grade A stink-a-reno!

While the narration was brilliant, it was wasted on, what I believe to be, the dumbest story ever told. I listened the whole time hoping for some sort of rational storyline to emerge. The writing reminds one of a composition from a 5 year-old told to work in lots of trademark references. Wish I had my money and time back...
