I love this series, but I hate change

Sorry to be another review that pans the new narration by Fiona Shaw, but this narrator was really disappointing considering this was the most-preordered audiobook in PRH history. Both myself and my mom were hugely unhappy upon hitting “play”. I would have preferred to wait extra time for Lesley Manville to return, and I hope that they are able to get her back for books 4-6. I don’t know if I will continue these audiobooks otherwise.

Excellent sequel to the Ninth Sorceress, Wynne’a worldbuilding continues as we follow Gwyn to the Clockwork City and the Syndicate. Can’t wait for the next book!

Exciting!

Despite not being much of a fantasy reader, I thoroughly enjoyed being taken through the story of Gwyn’s adventure. It took me a bit to get a grasp on the intricacies of the magical world that Wynne built, but once I was fully immersed I couldn’t wait to see what happened. And now I can’t wait for the Price of Magic Book 2!
