So much potential but just bad writing. DNF

The characters get annoying and repetitive and you can guess where every twist is going. Shame bc there’s a lot of cool potential and I’d like to know what happens but I’m not willing to keep slogging through the same phrases and lack of communication needed to hold up the plot.

Great story, but difficult format. Overall worth it

I’ve both read and listened to these books and I enjoy them. Extremely original and captivating…but the format sucks. The chapters don’t align so the narrator is saying chapter 30 while the device says you’re half way through chapter 9, there are random long pauses, and the timer won’t work properly as a result. Just format annoyances that shouldn’t be there.

the most fulfilling and satisfying fiction ever.

fantastic voices. thrilling, whimsical, YA type adventure, and deep spiritual philosophy behind it all. sci fi lovers will enjoy the multiple universes, action adventure lovers will take to the epic battles and heroics, theorists will love the religious contemplation, romance lovers will enjoy a tender love story. and for anyone who likes anthropomorphism this is the best thing since sliced bread.

Damn good. especially for a long road trip.

excellent narration, I loved all the different voices and accents. I didnt get bored once. this audio book got me through a 14 hour road trip and back. now I can't wait to get book two. many characters to get attached to, and all of them complex.
