Historia
In 1959 Tibet, a Buddhist artifact of immense importance was seemingly lost to history in the turmoil of the Communist takeover. But when National Underwater and Marine Agency Director Dirk Pitt discovers a forgotten plane crash in the Philippine Sea over 60 years later, new clues emerge to its hidden existence. But Pitt and his compatriot Al Giordino have larger worries when they are ordered to recover a failed hypersonic missile from Luzon Strait. Only someone else is after it, too.

Too much action
Revisado: 10-15-24
Too much action. Lost the story. Under the sea, on a ship, in Tibet. Not sure what was going on.

Always a winner
Revisado: 08-02-24
What did I like is that he always gets your attention in the beginning of the book and then you can’t put it down. I was 22 in 1968 so I could relate to everything on the book. Spot on David.

Awesome
Revisado: 12-20-22
Awesome is all I can say. Falcones keeps you in the story always reminding you who the characters are. The narrator Paul Michael is fantastic with his accents. I could see the characters as he read. The book got me in the beginning and kept me intrigued to the last word. It was good to keep me in tuned with the dates and the historical facts. I would recommend this book to anyone. Now to find another one as good.

Lady Chatterley's Lover

Historia
The story of Lady Chatterley and her love for her husband's gamekeeper outraged the sensibilities of Edwardian England. Lawrence had already been dismissed as a purveyor of the obscene for the attitudes to sex that he had shown in The Rainbow, which had been fiercely suppressed on its publication in 1915. Chatterley, written in several versions around 1928 in Italy in the final part of Lawrence's life, was a deliberate choice on the author's part to address sex head on.

Beautiful Story
Revisado: 08-07-22
Beautiful Story. Exquisite prose and love in this story. I was always told “Oh, Lady Chatterley’s Lover”. How risqué. It is not. It is beautifully done with suggestive prose. Dreamy. I would recommend this book to anyone who has love in their heart.
