Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Story is great but oh my God where did they get this guy to narrate? Kevin Pierce from book one is amazing but this guy blows
How could the performance have been better?

Historia
Kyle Tait, having survived the harrowing, cross-country journey home to his family, must now struggle for existence in a post-EMP world that no one could have imagined just three short months prior. Each day brings new challenges - how to fight the bitter cold, where to scavenge food for the table, and how to best fend off intruders and keep their community safe. As the cold, dark days of winter begin the slow transition to spring, the Tait family is faced with a challenge that dwarfs all others.

Narrator Sucks but the story is good
Revisado: 06-27-16
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrators voice inflection and timing was not good
Any additional comments?
I recommend the series but just be prepared for the narrator to not be anywhere near as good as the first one. He was way way to dramatic in his reading and it actually got annoying at times. The story however is a great addition and follow-on from the 1st book. I strongly recommend it

Historia
Already cited on the floor of Congress and discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a book all Americans should read, One Second After is the story of a war scenario that could become all too terrifyingly real. Based upon a real weapon - the Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) - which may already be in the hands of our enemies, it is a truly realistic look at the awesome power of a weapon that can destroy the entire United States.

What did you like best about this story?
With the background of the author, it gives the story a real sense of what WILL happen around the country should this awful event actually happen. Lessons to be learned here
