Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Prince & modern day Profit, Harry. Heartfelt, sincere, raw, and still hopeful.
Revisado: 01-17-23
I bought the audio book because I wanted to hear Harry’s voice directly as he shared his truth. While there is clearly a lot of pain and heartbreak surrounding many of the pages, there is also an undertone of hope that things can and must change. Harry shares from an extremely vulnerable place, one of which I have never heard a royal family member speak from before, and it’s honestly refreshing. This is especially true for the things he reveals from his military career. For a family that supports mental so health much, Harry takes us into his own journey of therapy, and various methods of healing. In doing so, Harry shows the world an actual example of a life examined and not just a sympathetic but seemingly “above the fray” presence the royal family has long been seen to be. The vulnerability is raw, tender, and completely relatable for the masses. Who among us hasn’t endured loss, trauma, grief, disillusionment? - Harry helps by showing his own journey and quietly encourages us all by showing his strength to grow and change, even amidst a family system that has no example of how to move forward in such areas. ( Harry might be surprised at how totally relatable this is for a lot of us!). The stories of ghastly paparazzi and media treatment left me feeling appalled and re-committed to never supporting these publications personally. If no one wanted to read such garbage, there would be no demand. This book definitely was a reminder to check my own propensity towards feeling entitled to information that is absolutely none of my business. In the end, it is clear that Harry and Meghan are on their way to living a much freer life - and I am hopeful that through their example, change and reconciliation can occur within a system that so clearly desperately needs it.
Thank you for sharing your truth, Harry (and Meghan). May you be happy, may you be healthy, may you have peace. 🤍

Our children can be our greatest teachers. Parenting expert Susan Stiffelman writes that the very behaviors that push our buttons - refusing to cooperate or ignoring our requests - can help us build awareness and shed old patterns, allowing us to raise our children with greater ease and enjoyment.

This is hands down the best parenting book I’ve ever read. So wise and practical. Thank you so much for making the world a better place!
