Historia
Neapolis: a desert city on planet Bethel where all manner of entertainment is found: High-stakes gambling, luxurious hotels, exclusive clubs, and any form of diversion imaginable may be had for a price. It’s the eve of the annual carnival: three days of decadent revelry, and Serenity arrives to take a security job, guarding a costly shipment. But the shipment is stolen, and the wealthy owner kidnaps Zoë and Book, holding them to ransom for the lost shipment’s value. If Mal can’t find the enormous sum of 500 platinum by the next evening, both of them will be killed.

Great narrator
Revisado: 12-14-24
The narrator is able to differentiate the character voices enough to know who’s speaking without having to have it explained to you. And all without being over the top with the character voices.

Historia
When hardcore industrial rocker and Ministry supremo Al Jourgensen recruited Chris Connelly as a singer for the Revolting Cocks, the young Scottish lad could hardly have imagined the mayhem that was about to ensue. As an integral part of Jourgensen's Mad Max-like mutant family of musicians, Connelly joined a drug-crazed travelling circus.

A fantastic and fun listen
Revisado: 11-22-24
I loved that Chris read it himself. Great stories that overlap with my own journey as an industrial fan who lived in Chicago during Wax Trax’s heyday. Sidebar - Chris was working at Reckless Records (Chicago) just a few blocks from my house around ‘95 or so, and he was a genuinely nice person when I would buy music there.
