Historia
Most books about the history of humanity pursue either a historical or a biological approach, but Dr. Yuval Noah Harari breaks the mold with this highly original book. From examining the role evolving humans have played in the global ecosystem to charting the rise of empires, Sapiens integrates history and science to reconsider accepted narratives, connect past developments with contemporary concerns, and examine specific events within the context of larger ideas.

Yet another WOKE nonsense
Revisado: 06-06-23
From the beginning you know how the author is desperate to bend the narrative to fit the woke agenda and political correctness. The second half is pure woke nonsense

Historia
Victoria McQueen has an uncanny knack for finding things: a misplaced bracelet, a missing photograph, answers to unanswerable questions. When she rides her bicycle over the rickety old covered bridge in the woods near her house, she always emerges in the places she needs to be. Vic doesn't tell anyone about her unusual ability, because she knows no one will believe her. She has trouble understanding it herself.

I labored through it
Revisado: 05-26-23
Story really wants to be exciting but it isn’t. I finished it but was looking how much was left. Labored through it. It’s kind of dull. Had high hopes because there’s a lot of books from this author but I am not sure I’ll give him another try. Performance was fantastic though.

DON’T LET S.KING READ HIS BOOKS!!!!
Revisado: 02-25-23
Overall it’s 5star audiobook. EVEN STEPHEN KING COULDN’T SPOIL IT. But seriously who in his right mind can think this guy can be a narrator. Mr.King you should really stick to writing. Leave reading to those whose diction, voice and speech are made for that. Yours ain’t. You are terrible
Now to the audiobook. It’s great. Great story, great Blair Brown performance. She IS great. Clear, pleasant voice, spotless diction.

Historia
The Strange Death of Europe is a highly personal account of a continent and culture caught in the act of suicide. Declining birth rates, mass immigration, and cultivated self-distrust and self-hatred have come together to make Europeans unable to argue for themselves and incapable of resisting their own comprehensive alteration as a society and an eventual end.

Brave, strong and scary
Revisado: 02-14-23
I will advertise this book to all of my friends especially those crazy liberals. This book, even though it may seem conservative or controversial is just a clear and true picture of what happened, and continue to happen to us, citizens. How we are being treated by our own government and how we continue to let them ruin our lives, countries and heritage in the name of….. what??

Narrator is so terrible I gave up the book
Revisado: 01-10-23
It’s Dean Koontz so story itself can’t be bad. Although this one is portraying women is very specific way. I’m not easily offended but….an hour into the book I knew I’ll make remarks about this.
The thing that made me trash this book is it’s narrator. He is a prick . Women roles sound as women were simply straight from looney bin. His voice is unpleasant, squeaky just ughh.

Historia
On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

Historia
Stephen King returns to the characters and territory of one of his most popular novels ever, The Shining, in this instantly riveting novel about the now middle-aged Dan Torrance (the boy protagonist of The Shining) and the very special 12-year-old girl he must save from a tribe of murderous paranormals. This is an epic war between good and evil, a gory, glorious story that will thrill the millions of hyper-devoted fans of The Shining and wildly satisfy anyone new to the territory of this icon in the King canon.

Historia
Since his wife died, Ralph Roberts has been having trouble sleeping. Each night he wakes up a bit earlier until he's barely sleeping at all. During his late-night walks, he observes some strange things going on in Derry, Maine. He sees colored ribbons streaming from people's heads, two strange little men wandering around town after dark, and more. He begins to suspect that these visions are something more than hallucinations brought on by lack of sleep.
