Thought provoking read!

As always, I enjoy learning how Moriarty weaves her characters together at the end of the book. The narrators were superb and the story very enthralling!

I loved hearing Jenny’s life story and her take on life in general! It made for an inspiring and uplifting listen while I pieced my own quilts!

ABRIDGED FOR AUDIO
Revisado: 02-12-20
I was unaware till the end "credits" that this had been abridged, which was frustrating to learn. I looooove Kaye Gibbons' "Ellen Foster", so was expecting another of her works (read by the author herself, nonetheless!) to be just as wonderful. Alas, it was extraordinarily underwhelming. The reading was lackluster and the story was without plot. It was a painful listen about growing up with a mother suffering from significant mental illness. Perhaps I should be grateful it was abridged!

Revisado: 02-05-19
I liked the fact that the stories were very exciting and suspenseful at times and that they were adventurous and mysterious. They were also very sweet and sad. Overall I really liked the books and highly recommend them to other kids ages 8 and up.

Child's voice is hard to understand
Revisado: 06-04-18
This is an excellent true story of a boy whose voice was stolen by autism, but then regifted in sorts by God. Very moving and poignant. I will forever think about heaven in a very different light after this book. My only concern was that the child's voice was difficult to understand in the audible probably due to the unusual manner in which he writes. Overall, i highly recommend to Christian listeners! :)
