Absolutely wonderful series! I waited patiently for book 2&3 to be released! From Stars of Fortune to Island of Glass! Excellent series! In my opinion this is Nora Roberts best!

I am listening to the Dark Series in order and I found that I do not remember some of the things Byron is remembering from the past that led him to leave his home land! Gives me a reason to listen to the previous books all over again!
This was really one of the best in the series so far!!! I really loved the witty banter between the two life mates! Some of the story had me laughing out loud! I enjoyed this book of the series! I kept rewinding my favorite parts.
Out of the series so far this is my favorite!!!
I loved that the heroine gave herself totally to him! No whining and simpering over the choice! At least this book gave her a choice!!!
Really people if you are listening to the series, you will not be disappointed!
Give it a shot! The intrigue will keep you in suspense!

Ok, was not sure I was really going to like the idea of (Carpathians)! Lol I love romance and have for decades, I wanted more spice! Well, Christine Feehan gave me just what I wanted! I was actually talking to the book!!! Lol
If you are an older woman, want more mystery and spice, take a chance get this book! You will not be disappointed!

Sweet story line!

Anastasia is a very quite spoken woman! This book could not have been anything else but sweet, with a character like Anastasia!

Nora Roberts is out doing herself on this trilogy! I have waited and waited for second book Bay of Sighs to come out and I am thrilled! Far more intrigue and suspense than most of her trilogy's. Yes, you do know who is going to hook up next and that is normal but the story is so far one of her best!
Saskia Maarleveld is really challenged in second book with all of the new characters introduced! She does a great job! She is one of my favorite narrators for Nora Roberts books!

I cannot believe how good this book is! I have listened to it over and over! It is so refreshing to have a great narrator for Nora's book! There was an entire series that would have been great but was totally ruined by the narrators! It shocked me how badly the narrators could ruin an entire trilogy! Blood Magic was first in series! I was so annoyed by all three narrators that the trilogy was just ruined!
The story line of Stars of Fortune really keeps the reader intrigued! And the narrator was very good! No complaints! Ready for book two!
Nora does a lot of books with Irish characters. It is imperative that the narrators match the characters or all is lost! Thank you for reading!

Not what I expected!

I usually love Nora Roberts! The story line was pretty typical! No surprises! I felt the story line was pretty bland!
The audio version of this book is horrible!!! I almost gave up, but I did go ahead and finish the book! The narrator had a very difficult time voicing all characters. A good portion of the time I had to figure out who she was portraying. Her Irish sounded like an old woman. So all characters speaking Irish sounded like "the old woman"!
