I was really enjoying this up until the epilogue, and then it was you make what you make of it. So, after all of Julian’s repeated lines, I can only conclude that she rose and rose alone. So that is what I am taking from this :/
I give this 3.75 stars.

Loved Sean, however IMO the story didn’t have enough detail and the relationship between the two MCs really didn’t have time to develop. Therefore I really didn’t feel the chemistry between them.

Historia
The Kingdom of Askara has been torn apart by conflict for centuries, where humans exist as subservient beings to their werewolf masters. Legend says it will only be able to heal itself when an Alpha King and a pure omega are mated and crowned together, but a pure omega hasn't been born in over a thousand years. Luca is an Alpha-heir eagerly awaiting the choosing ceremony on his 25th birthday and the gifts granted by whichever omega he mates.

Angst-apalooza!
Revisado: 07-03-17
The Story:
Now that is how you write a shifter/Mpreg book! I cannot express to you how much I enjoyed this story. This audiobook really has so much going on in only eight hours and fifteen minutes (215 pages), but not so much you're overwhelmed. It really is just right!
Victoria Sue did a fantastic job with the world building. So much so, it was easy to visualize when Luca, Kit, Sam and the rest of the gang start their trip to Neira. Not to mention the character development and storyline was wonderfully done. Seriously, I was hooked from the very beginning. With all the miscommunication, betrayal, an evil/horrible family members, sexy times, knotting and Mpreg. Really, what is not to love?
This is my second time with this book, and you know it's good when you still get pissed at the same points in the story every time you read/listen to it. Really Luca, you are such an ass. Don't you think you would learn from your first fuck up, but no you didn't. Really?!? So, yeah this book is full of angst.
So, I can only hope that the next book is about Sam and Asher. Now, that should be an angst-apalooza, fo' shizzle!
The Narration: 3.5 stars (rounded-up)
Okay, now to break down the narration. This is my third audiobook narrated by Joel Leslie, and at this point I have come to a bit of a conclusion. That is, his voice sounds otherworldly, which I believe is better when used for the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre. Now, I'm not saying that given more "data" my conclusion will not change because everyone knows the more information you have the better conclusion you can draw.
In regards to the characters, I do like his rough/textured voice; however, the female parts IMO were only okay. In addition, the voices for the council in the beginning, seem to fit the characters at first, but when the author lets us know that they were in fact not even a third of their age, it seemed way off. Meaning, IMO Joel Leslie made them sound older than they should have. Overall, it was an enjoyable audiobook that I would definitely listen to again.

Through a miserable adolescence and a lonely adulthood, Skipper Keith has dreamed of nothing but family. Wholly Fuc* Sticks on Crackers :)
Revisado: 04-01-17
The Story
If I could describe this book in four words it would have to be, 'Down to Earth' and 'Blunt :)'. From the start, I fell in love with both Skipper and Richie. Actually anyone who doesn’t fall for these two and their story is just wrong, wrong I tell you! It's not just them as a couple, but on they are both wonderful people. Amazing men that have turned out damn near perfect despite their upbringing. Each striving to do better and be better than what they came from.
Skipper, who has lost everyone and is so desperately lonely. He feels that he needs to come to work, not because he particularly loves or even likes it. More so, he feels without it no one would notice if anything happened to him. Seriously, how sad is that? Then there is Richie, whose family just needs to die in a fiery explosion. For a father just to give up like that and to care more for the stepfamily than his own flesh and blood is just heart breaking.
These boys just melted my heart, and made me laugh along the way on their journey towards happiness. I loved the newness of everything and how the author developed these characters to be realistic and relatable to the reader. To be able to make the journey with Skipper and Richie from the moment they “connected”, their easy acceptance with one another, their sexual discoveries and their new-found friendships was endearing, priceless and lets not forget HOT!
In the end, both Skipper and Richie get their well deserved HEA. A home to share and a loving family that consists of Carpenter, Mason and a few others from their league.
The Narration
Nick J. Russo did an amazing job with the voices for not only Skipper and Richie, but for all the characters. I felt they were distinct and fit each character very well. I enjoyed the enthusiasm he put into the narration. Really, it's hot!

The Story
Who doesn’t love a story that involves a rent boy and wait for it….an age gap! Oh, and did I mention that the younger man ends up being the controlling top? Hot, right?!?! Let me just say it starts off pretty hot and just builds up from there. I am talking toys, food play and some spanking.
The story is a bit angsty. By that I mean that they both have their own thoughts of what the other thinks about them, in regards to being with someone for more than just a fuck, given their age. The plot of the book is pretty much the norm: a closeted man (Thorne) falls for his rent boy (Dash) in which neither one of them thinks that the other could want anything more. Therefore the conflict of the book being little to no communication outside of their “business” arrangement, which honestly I felt something lacking here.
Silvia Violet is not a new author for me. I have read Meteor Strike, and let me just say that this story surpasses it. She did a good job with character development and it was nice to see how Thorne and Dash’s feelings developed toward one another over time.
As for the cliffhanger, it leaves them with a HFN. Which IMO if you wanted to stop after this book you could. That is if you didn’t want to know what is on the horizon for Thorne and Dash and where their relationship might take them.
The Narrator
Greg Boudreaux did an amazing job with the emotion he put into the story. I felt that he did a wonderful job with each character and their voices. However, it would have been nice if his female voices had a bit more variety.

The Story
Okay, so if you think that this audiobook will be heavy on religion, especially after reading the blurb, don't fret. Actually, I wasn’t sure where the author was going with the religion aspect of the story, that is until I was near the end of the book. What Karen Stivali ended up doing was refreshing and enlightening; especially given her analogy to help explain things to us readers.
This book is told from Jason’s POV, however IMO it would have been better if it alternated (for the most part) between Jason and Quinn’s POV. In turn, the author might have had a better time getting certain idea’s conveyed instead of the reader jumping to conclusions. I then would have had a better grasp on Quinn’s thoughts and struggles. Particularly since I didn’t understand why Quinn opted not to tell his brother he was gay until the end. One would think he would want to seek support, but no.
As for conflict, Quinn has no qualms being intimate with Jason. There is no hesitation when it comes to the sexual attraction both MC's have for one another. In the end, it all comes down to his decision on whether to take the last steps to become a Catholic priest.
The Narrator
Robert Nieman did a good job narrating this book. I wouldn't say he is great or amazing, just that his voice is nice to listen to.

Warning: If you are not into heavy kink, more the SM side of BDSM, then this book is not for you.
The Story
I just have to say I love everything Avery in this book. Seriously, he is such a complex, amazing, kind and brilliant person. Avery is this bright shining star that attracts others; not even knowing his own self-worth. I loved the sarcasm, witty thoughts and analogies that just seemed to tumble out of Avery’s mouth without second thought.
As I listened to the audiobook, I have to admit I too thought the same as Avery’s friends throughout the majority of the book. Meaning I thought Malin was just using him. However, with help from his friends he starts to speak up, and in turn gets Malin to open up. Once this happened, my mood quickly changed. Soon I found my heart breaking for the insufferable asshole. I seriously did not see that coming at all. Thank you very much for writing such a well-written book that encompasses not only the good things in life that we sometimes take for granted, but the sadness that sometimes throws our lives off kilter.
After the revelation, I began to understand that it took someone like Avery to not only help Malin heal, but to love him as well. When the story concluded, I felt like they were finally able to start; especially since what was preventing Malin from opening up was no longer weighing heavily on his shoulders. Once that was done, you could see the feelings Malin was trying to hide/protect himself from. God no one should go through that. I feel bad thinking he was an asshole for 60-70% of the book.
One thing I wish the author would have delved a bit into was why Malin went from batting from one team to the other. Unless I missed it, there was no mention of being bi or even bi-curious. So, in that aspect I am a bit lost, because from the go he wasn’t put off nor extremely hesitant with any intimacy between Avery and himself.
Nonetheless, I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this book, and I think you will too! Avon Gale, if you have this sudden urge to write book 1.5 to give us a glimpse forward, like an Epilogue, that would be great :)
The Narrator
Derrick McClain did an amazing job with the characters of this book. Not only did he do a great job defining each character's voice, but the tone of the story as well. Oh, and the accents!!!!!! I really did enjoy his performance, and will definitely seek out books that he narrates.

Andrew was raised Catholic and was told his homosexuality was a sin. For his entire life, he hid the truth. He married and had children to present a facade to the world that of a straight man. It's not until he has an affair with Paul, who shows him a different side of Jesus, that Andrew realizes he can be gay and still believe in God. Paul's Jesus is one of acceptance and love, and in Paul's church, being gay is not a problem.

The Story
Warning: If you don’t like cheating, then go no further. In its defense, technically there isn’t cheating when the marriage is thought of contractual by both parties and both parties agree that the other can find pleasure outside the marriage as long as they are discrete. Yes, they are not honoring their vows, but again both adults think of this a contract, nothing more. In addition, even though religion is involved in this story, it does not weigh the story down.
With that out of the way......Holy crap does this book start out with a bang... literally. Let me just say that you are in for a treat. Who does not like a hot and steamy shower sex scene in a gym. In fact this is where Paul and Andrew meet, even though Andrew has seen him around the gym once or twice before.
Andrew is a successful businessman with a beautiful wife and two young children. However, appearances are not always what they seem. In fact, their marriage is a marriage of convenience. It was forged between the two of them at desperate times in their lives. Both Kristy and Andrew have their own reasons for their agreement which I will leave for the reader to explore.
IMO Andrew and Kristy's reasons for getting married are selfish. However, with Paul's help Andrew is able to grow and become not just a better person (and not a pushover) but a better parent. Unfortunately, Kristy still stays a selfish bitch. I am hoping with time (a from the bit of redemption at the end) she will eventually become a better person all around.
Even though Paul isn’t perfect by any means, together they fit. The attraction between the two is undeniable. Not only is their growing feelings toward one another sweet, it kept me on the edge with all the conflict they came up against. There is a lot that the two have to navigate through: Andrew being in the closet due to his religious upbringing, the wife, the kids, both his parents and his wife’s parents, the separation, their hectic schedules and etc. Even through all that, both eventually get their well deserved HEA. I have to say it is ultra complicated, but I wouldn't expect anything else given everything they have gone through up until this point.
First off let me say that I have not read and/or listened to the first book in the series, but the author does such a great job that this book can be read and/or listened to by itself. She did such a wonderful job telling a story about a man who is lost and conflicted not just with himself and others but with God as well. It just took one man to help him not only see things from a different view on religion, but to find balance in his life. This book is full of ups and downs, so be ready. This is an audiobook worth listening too and well worth the credit :)
The Narrator
Randy Fuller is a new narrator for me, and I have to say I like the job he did. He has a nice voice and did a good job with the different characters in the story.
Audio Editing
There is a bit of an editing issue with the audio a bit under the two-hour mark. It was if they went back to re-record a certain part and then edited the area. Unfortunately, you can hear the sound variation.

The Story
First I have to say poor Marty. I know that his family for the most part has his best interests at heart. Yet, with a family like that I can understand why he is the way he is. Self preservation lol. Between his mom and sister, god bless this character; I would have run a long time ago. So, when he happens to run into Luke, and his luck changes I was so happy for him. In fact, they same can be said later on down the line for Luke. They both happen to change each other for the better. Luke is very guarded, but being around Marty he starts to let go and relax. Marty finally starts standing up for himself in all aspects of life. Together they are stronger together, and realize that they have feelings for one another despite their differences. In fact, their differences seem to build one another up.
The author did well with the flow of the book. He kept me interested with the wittiness of the two MC's and the chemistry slowly building between them. The plot itself was sound and kept you intrigued and wondering who for the most part. Though near the end it was a bit to obvious IMO. Nonetheless, in the end you are left happy as Luke and Marty get their well deserved HEA, and the bad guy(s) get their own do justice.
The Narrator
The Narrator wasn't too bad. He seemed to have range for the character's he portrayed. I just wish he would have put more emotion into the reading. Overall, it was enjoyable to listen to.

The Story
On the day that International model, Oliver “Ollie” Petroskovic ends up buying a fixer upper of a house for him and his brother Nathan, is the same day that his brother takes his life. This leaves Ollie with a house in need of repairs and Petroskovic Haven Investigations; Nathan’s PI business. Fast forward eight months after his brothers’ PTSD-induced suicide, Ollie is struggling to keep things afloat. He is carrying on in his brother’s place at PHI, but not being a licensed PI limits him to the type of jobs he can take on.
Medically discharged, Kade Alme is trying to build a new life for himself outside the Marines, and he would like it to included Ollie. See, he has always had a thing for his best friend’s younger brother, so when Ollie is in need of a licensed PI, Kade comes to his rescue. Sadly, Ollie believes given time, everyone will eventually leave. It doesn’t help that his parents died when he was fourteen, then his boyfriend cheated on him and then there’s the death of his brother. You can see why Ollie would put up a barrier to protect himself.
When he receives a call from the hospital about childhood friend, Donovan Reed, Ollie feels the need to help out. Soon after looking into his friend’s accident, weird and horrible things start to happen. It doesn’t help that Ollie seems to attract danger everywhere he goes; even with Kade close by.
In the end, the case gets solved and both Ollie and Kade get their HFN. Just a FYI, this is a “sort of” cliffhanger. However, do not fret. It does not involve the MC’s relationship at all.
I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook! Seriously, what’s not to like when a book contains: lots of manties and an online reality sex show. There is so much going on in this book, you will not want to put it down. Not to mention how developed the characters are in the book.
I cannot wait for the next in the series, which I’m told will be out in October.
The Narrator
OMG, I love this narrator! Mike Pohlable, has a wide range of voices for the characters in this book, it is unbelievable. Seriously everyone character, male and female, is very distinct; which is really nice when determining which character is speaking. To top it off, he puts a lot of emotion into his work that really makes this audiobook wonderful. IMO, I would put him in the same vicinity as Robert Petkoff.
