What if using your magic hurt ?
Most definitely makes you think before you use the power you're given.
Dresden with a twist; I found the premise extremely interesting and the character development fascinating and then some.

Better than I thought it would be, glad I hung in there

Once I got used to the cadence of the narrator, and learned the type of humor I was listening to, I would say 75% of this actually made me laugh. The other 25% made me smile, so overall I would say it's definitely worth the price

Dresden Snark with a twist

Protagonist is interesting in a laid-back way. Like the way that he's not skilled in fighting or exceptionally bright, but perseveres through trying to do the right thing for the right reason.
Narrator is excellent, my only complaint is he speaks so softly that I have to crank up the volume just to keep track

80+ hour binge listen

Across-the-board, professional and riveting. Made my 10 hour commute something to look forward to instead of dread. Even started listening to it when mowing the lawn etc. Looking forward to the next chapters. Keep up the good work

Can't go wrong with Weber

Plot was what I was looking for, since I'm already familiar with Weber's work. Narrator brought an interesting take as she was able to change speaking patterns and inflection. Made it easier to follow when narration changed from point of views. I go on a roll sometimes, and I'm going to download another Weber book now.

You have to love the genre to love this series

Honor, integrity, humor, poignant decisions made with lasting repercussions.
Predecessor of all the superhero special effects, the audio version of the books I've read three times is much better than anything I've seen on the big screen. If you have an imagination, I highly suggest this series

Even better fourth time around

First time around was paperback. Second time around was the entire set in hard cover. Third time around was a mix of the two, depending on where I was. This fourth time around I am enjoying immensely, as I am listening to it as I'm commuting or walking the dogs. Highly recommended
