Historia
Mulberry is a three-story Victorian in the Hamptons, the perfect summer retreat for the Bradley family. Forty years ago a family was murdered in the house. Now, the bloodstains have been washed away, and the grisly killings are just a chilling local legend. But something unseen still waits in the shadowed hallways and antique furnished bedrooms.

The narrator was AWESOME!
Revisado: 02-23-24
This has been a favorite of mine for years. The narrator’s portrayal of the characters using unique and distinguishable voices acting out the narration and dialog - AWESOME! Psychology and ghosts? Always a great combination. What I like best about the story is its seamless pace.

For the Love of a House…
Revisado: 07-12-21
I didn’t have any sympathy for the main character, not even a “poor thing, she’s mentally unwell”, which led to me not having a vested interest in the overall outcome of the story. I found the main character too unlikeable. The overall rapport between the two characters was compelling, however. Their dialog was quite natural. That helped the story move forward.
I also thought the dramatic element needed strengthening. I would have also liked more insight from the interviewer regarding the young woman with whom he was speaking.
I would have also liked to see the house itself be presented more as a character, written so that the audience would anticipate how the house reacted to changes. The best thing about the story is the questions that remain: Was it the house or was it the madness of the young woman who lived there? Was it both? Was it the long gone mother?
My recommendation is to give it a listen to find out for yourself. It’s a fun and interesting trip.
