Historia
The previous edition of this now-classic book revealed the existence and subversive manipulations of "economic hit men". John Perkins wrote that economic hit men (EHM) "are highly paid professionals who cheat countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars. Their tools include fraudulent financial reports, rigged elections, payoffs, extortion, sex, and murder".

mediocre attempt at important story

bad story telling and not great writing but this is an important story to tell, to educate north America. Also, the author felt bad the whole time. honest

way too thin
Revisado: 11-28-16
Unfortunately, I would have loved a lot more detail on Stan's memoir. Most of his stories are a couple of throw away lines leaving you wanting a lot, lot more.
There were some sound problems on my copy with the reader occasionally screaming then whispering at times. Both leaving me to fiddle with the volume, something I've never had to do before.

Wong believes that most people - even creative people - have a tendency to follow a script, to do things the way others do them simply because that way works. But therein lies the secret at the heart of the Cheat Code: Anyone can easily shortcut his or her way to success simply by going slightly off script, by doing things just a little differently from everyone else. Here, Wong unlocks the power of the Cheat Code through 71 bite-size and virtually effortless shortcuts to get a leg up on the competition, garner attention for ourselves and our ideas, and accelerate our success.

I was expecting not to learn anything from this 24 year old entrepreneur but I remain pleasantly surprised.. his book of Cheats has something for everyone even for an old businessman who's read it all...like me

Despite the very clinical first chapter, the book goes down easily. It is an even balance between analysis (none of which will surprise the casual fan) and the authors own experience going to the San Diego Comic Con (also nothing that will surprise anyone who's gone to a large Comic Con, San Diego or not). What I found most interesting was the end analysis of the future, even though the physical book version would be vastly superior in lieu of charts missing from the digital form. All and all not a bad read.
