another, "chapter".

I don't disagree with the idea of writing books with the intention of producing multiple titles to tell a story. A good Epic is always appreciated. We as readers of Sci-fi have benefited from this model greatly. But, stretching a simple plotline out over multiple books without substantial plot development is weak. This book is weak. An attempt to add a new title without actually moving the storyline forward. Yes, a new antagonist has arrived, or will, or maybe is already here. But, that seems the intention of the entire book. The main characters don't develop. There are attempts at this, but, quickly they become just pointless twists in a battle scene. There is now no clear protagonist. Just an Us vs. Them story for the sake of regurgitating homogenized battle scenes. Maybe quantity over quality is the issue.

Historia
In The Big Fix, energy policy advisor Hal Harvey and longtime New York Times reporter Justin Gillis offer a new, hopeful way to engage with one of the greatest problems of our age. Writing in a lively, accessible style, the pair illuminate how the really big decisions that affect our climate get made—whether by the most obscure public utilities commissions or in the lofty halls of state capitols—and reveal how each of us can influence these decisions to deliver change.

Historia
On the edge of the galaxy, a diplomatic mission to an alien planet takes a turn when the Legionnaires, an elite special fighting force, find themselves ambushed and stranded behind enemy lines. They struggle to survive under siege, waiting on a rescue that might never come. In the seedy starport of Ackabar, a young girl searches the crime-ridden gutters to avenge her father's murder; not far away, a double-dealing legionniare-turned-smuggler hunts an epic payday; and somewhere along the outer galaxy, a mysterious bounty hunter lies in wait.

The beginning's of a great story.

Author struggles to add a concept of time passed. You get it if you are listening closely. If you listen and drive, you may miss his subtle clues.
All in all a great book. I'll go find the next book.

Historia
Requiem for Battleship Yamato is Yoshida Mitsuru's story of his own experience as a junior naval officer aboard the fabled Japanese battleship as it set out on a last, desperate sortie in April 1945. Yoshida was on the bridge during Yamato's fatal encounter with American airplanes, and his eloquent, moving account of that battle makes a singular contribution to the literature of the Pacific war. The book has long been considered a classic in both Japan and the United States.

Brutally Honest Account of Institutional Idiocy

interesting insight
Revisado: 01-30-18
Not so much a story about the battle or the ship. It is an insightful look in the culture behind the Japanese Imperial Navy. The acceptance that the game was lost, and futility of the conflict leading up to these events. Real history, not popular history.
