Historia
Coryn and the Band have returned to the Great Ga’HooleTree and restored order. With the ember safely hidden away, the tree shakes off its gaudy golden glow and recovers its natural majesty. Meanwhile, deep in the Palace of Mists, Bess finds an ancient map fragment that reveals that there are not five owl kingdoms - as has been thought since time immemorial - but six. Coryn and the Chaw of Chaws set off to find this unknown land and, in a landscape of perpetual winter, discover a monastery of serene, learned owls, the likes of which no one has ever seen before.

Historia
It has been 40 years since the publication of this classic science-fiction novel that changed the way we look at the stars and ourselves. From the savannas of Africa at the dawn of mankind to the rings of Saturn as man adventures to the outer rim of our solar system, 2001: A Space Odyssey is a journey unlike any other.

Revisado: 02-21-21
Please Audible! I would buy the whole Odyssey series if you could make 2010 available in English! Dying to listen to the rest of the series but I really don’t want to listen to them out of order! Where is 2010?

Starman!
Revisado: 05-20-20
Not at all what I would have expected! Though it may be said that the plot moves slowly and is relatively predictable, I find that the inner workings of the novel are more interesting! It is really a study of mankind! It is a concept that the David Bowie movie (that I still love) glosses over in favor of the love story that is only hinted at in the book! I really find the book very fascinating in its depiction of an alien succumbing to the hell that is mankind!

Historia
Charles Schulz, the most widely syndicated and beloved cartoonist of all time, is also one of the most misunderstood figures in American culture. Now, acclaimed biographer David Michaelis gives us the first full-length biography of Schulz: at once a creation story, a portrait of a hidden American genius, and a chronicle contrasting the private man with the central role he played in shaping the national imagination.

“It’s a Pretty Good Bio, Charlie Brown”
Revisado: 05-20-20
The focus of the book seemed to be geared more towards Schulz rather than his relationship to his creation. I would have rather known more about the man AND his detailed relationship to the the entire Peanuts gang! However, the bio still painted a good picture of who Schulz was. My biggest criticism of the audiobook comes with its abridgment! Although, some of the abridgment couldn’t be helped (the book is literally overflowing with Peanuts comics) I still felt some of the abridgment was unnecessary! The bio still achieved its purpose in painting a more detailed picture of the man behind the successful strip!

Historia
He was a gentle dreamer whose genial bearded visage was recognized around the world, but most people got to know him only through the iconic characters born of his fertile imagination: Kermit the Frog, Bert and Ernie, Miss Piggy, Big Bird. The Muppets made Jim Henson a household name, but they were just part of his remarkable story.

Revisado: 05-20-20
This in-depth and complete look into Jim Henson’s life made me appreciate him as my biggest hero even more! Brian Jay Jones wrote this biography thoroughly without loosing the extremely entertaining nature of the subject! Kudos to Kirby Heyborne for a wonderfully entertaining performance! Heyborne has obviously done his research and nails this reading! Wrapped in this biography completely and could not help ugly crying towards the conclusion! What a way to honor this amazing man!
