Historia
When it comes to dating, Adam Lockwood wouldn't know luck if it hit him in the face. After a failed relationship and a string of dates gone wrong, the thought of being vulnerable with someone is terrifying—most women only see his fame. But when his dog runs into Rosie Wells, a beautiful woman with a blush as pink as her hair, she doesn't seem to have a clue who he is, and Adam seizes the opportunity as a chance to finally be himself.

Adam and Trouble fall in the sweetest way. I think of all those books, this is the best. Skip and start here. I’d also like to read the future story: Connor and Ireland. Can you imagine???? But honestly, these characters are all amazing and fun to get to know. Great writing and amazing little world created.

Football star. Single dad. And once, a long time ago, mine. I’ve spent the better part of a decade forgetting Ford Ellis. If he had just stayed away from Montana, I might have erased the memory of his striking blue eyes and rugged smile forever. Avoiding him was easy when the only place I saw his face was on ESPN—and a remote control could fix that problem.

Hockey winger and campus hottie, Cole Davis, might be an MVP with the ladies, but I’m not falling for a player... not with medical school on the line. With our best friends dating, our forced proximity is inevitable. That doesn’t mean I have to like it - or the way he makes me feel. Like I’m missing out and there’s more to life than sitting on the sidelines. It only takes one moment of weakness to remind me why I should have stayed away from Cole. He might be a ruthless player, but nothing about this is a game.

Revisado: 03-24-25
Like Cole. Super cute. But Holland…
This author likes to write her makes as loveable and likable once they find their match. But the girls are always tough nuts to crack. And like only crack at the 87% mark in the book. So you spend most of the time thinking get over yourself.
That being said, Hollands backstory was super likable. I don’t think the author came to full closure with her father. But loved the other backstory connections that were made. A nice story overall. You root for them, and I think that’s the point.

Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

I like the premise of this story. It’s just very short. Love how it leaves off. But also, like the story just started and it ends.

Historia
Carter Beckett is the NHL’s resident bad boy, top player both on the ice and in the bedroom, and quite possibly the sexiest man to ever grace my field of vision. But worst of all? He knows it. He’s arrogant, self-centered, and the man doesn’t seem to know what a filter is, let alone how to use one. He’s had everything served to him on a silver platter, including endless strings of women, and apparently, I’m up next. I have the solution to all my sexual frustrations in a drawer at home, and it’s far less complicated than Carter Beckett.

His lines are terrible.
Revisado: 03-22-25
Guys just don’t sound like this and so no. Carter is fun. And carefree. Olivia borders on annoying, yet likable. The guy who reads for Carter should not read the female lines. They always come off as moody. The premise was good, but this really was hard to finish. I feel like authors can explain love really well in details, so they don’t need to clarify it in a monologue. Carters monologues are the worst! Just ugh.
Overall, skip this book and go to book 3. I liked that one. Garret and Jenny was a good story.

What's that saying? When life hands you lemons... What if I don't want to make lemonade? What if I want to pummel them into non-existence? Anything is better than admitting how desperately I want a taste of that sweet lemonade. That's exactly how I felt when my college assignment threw me in the direction of Miller Cain. My body screams for him while my brain warns me to run for the hills. He's the captain of the ice hockey team with a cocky reputation. He's a sweet talker and the bad boy promising me the ride of my life.

Simple but dramatic
Revisado: 03-18-25
This story was sweet and simple and I think the author was challenged between being a romance story and trying to make it serious with real issues. We have s3xual assault, arson, and death all in one bubblegum wrapped romance. It was like the author lost her way. Just a lot to tangle up into one novel.
The story wasn’t bad. The meet cute was perfect. The falling in love was sweet. But then 2/3 of the way in it became another story. Needed much better editing.

Cute story
Revisado: 03-18-25
This was a sweet hockey romance. Chase is very lovable. Luke is very hate worthy. Derick is a dick if a brother. Never redeemable. And roomies #1 were tragic. The story though is a fast easy read. Nice college romance.

Proof that I've been cursed: I've fallen for my coach's daughter... It started with friendship. The best stories always do. Our story sounds unlikely. Bizarre. A fable. Like wine and cheese and my favorite pair of jeans, things got better over time—too good, it seemed. Arlo Kostas was the starting running back for Brighton University. His quick smile and sharp wit were enough to disarm even the biggest cynic. And his perfectly defined abs and more perfect face convinced the rest.

Great story line.
Revisado: 03-13-25
As far as plot and story arch go, this book was quite well developed. I enjoyed that the characters didn’t fall right into one another. A friendship was developed first, making you enjoy the couple. I would suggest this book to anyone who likes romance. Because he’s injured, it’s not the same sports romance vibe. But it’s more from a different perspective of sports.

Alex Keller. Talented winger. The handsome hotshot player every girl on campus dreams of. And my fake boyfriend for the next two weeks. His idea, not mine. I doubt he knew I existed—until he stops the football team from teasing me. All it takes is a pet name and his strong arm around me. Playing along is my only option. I'm ready to go back to my side of the divide between nerds like me and athletes like Alex, but he refuses. He's determined to protect me for real, even if our relationship is fake.

Revisado: 03-13-25
Now much to this book. Very little to bite your teeth into. I did appreciate this wasn’t the he’s my brothers best friend we have to be secretive trope. The male main character, Alex, comes right out and claims her from the start, no “will her brother be mad”. He doesn’t appear to give that a thought. Even so, Lainey was boring and this stories plot needed more rising actions. Felt more like it went from introduction to exposition with very little in between.

Anyone but her. Eva Adams—the entitled, picture-perfect cheer princess. Incapable of empathy, patently manipulative, and absolutely beautiful. I can't afford her drama—I just want to play my last year of hockey without being kicked out of TU, but there she is on my first day back. Crying. In a weak moment, I make her an offer. An agreement I never thought she'd take. Except she surprises me, and now I'm faced with a dilemma. Protect my secrets… or win the girl.

Revisado: 01-06-25
Plot needed reworking. MC holds a grudge for a long time over nothing, and the actors reading it are too monotone. Not enough emotions, otherwise it’s ok.
