Historia
At the front of a middle-school classroom in Oklahoma, a boy named Khosrou (whom everyone calls "Daniel") stands, trying to tell a story. His story. But no one believes a word he says. To them he is a dark-skinned, hairy-armed boy with a big butt whose lunch smells funny; who makes things up and talks about poop too much.

Delightful rendition
Revisado: 06-23-23
Cherry Jones brings these stories to life. I especially like the fiddle player and the songs which gives you an idea of Pa’s music. Highly recommend.

Historia
In December 1893, Sherlock Holmes-adoring Londoners eagerly opened their Strand magazines-- anticipating the detective's next adventure-- only to find the unthinkable: his creator, Arthur Conan Doyle, had killed their hero off. London spiraled into mourning -- crowds sported black armbands in grief -- and railed against Conan Doyle as his assassin.

Enjoyable and Entertaining
Revisado: 01-11-11
This will be a treat for "Sherlockians". If you listen long enough your favorite mystery writer, Holmesian expert or celebrity will be mentioned or be part of the plot. The narrator does a good job with the various voices required. Worth the time and money.

Flawed Audio occasionally mars great tale.
Revisado: 08-25-10
Rebecca is one of my all-time favorite books and Anna Massey gives full value for money. However, occasionally on both parts 1 and 2 there are glitches that make it sound as though she's stuttering or repeating herself.
