100% worth your time if you are in the job search
Revisado: 10-25-23
Rob's perspective is on-target and feels like a drink of fresh water in the chaffing experience of a job search. There are a few fantastic takeaways that you really should hear from his perspective. I will share a couple of points here: 1) Be clear on your North Star (it's been a few weeks since my listen, so I won't say more than that 2) Write a cover letter that shows you understand the company, role, how your skills line-up and your passion for the job! You might think this takes too long -- but if you are clear on your target -- this is how you will get a shot at an interview. 3) Don't sit back and wait for HR; do what you need to do to get your shot! Again, it's been a few weeks since my listen, and I will return to this title again. It is an instant job-hunt classic. -JP

Good stuff

Although my days of voracious inhalation of metaphysical content is somewhat in my rear view— I checked out Dr Jana to hear her take. She has a truly angelic tone. Although I do enjoy the knowledge she brings forth — I’ll revisit for the vibe more than just the content

Totally GREAT, except ONE thing
Revisado: 01-20-20
Love it -- wonderful. Great learnings even tho I've heard/read/seen similar things... this is the best version yet of the game of manifestation. Also, I can't believe so many people hate Mikes's narrative style.... I think it may be one of the best things about this book. Here is what is driving me NUTS: can't find the visuals they reference with regularity. NOT ANYWHERE. THAT IS REALLY annoying....

Historia
Becoming rich is not a matter of environment or talent. Money and property come to us as a result of doing things in a certain way. This is a natural law - the Law of Attraction - which states that specific actions always produce like effects. As a result, anyone who learns to do things in a certain way will ultimately become prosperous.

totally worth the time
Revisado: 06-23-18
I'm voice typing this so there will be no punctuation I found the book to be fantastic it was better than Think and Grow Rich in my opinion I enjoyed the Simplicity of it and most of all appreciate the sentiment that wealth is created vs competed for listening to this has had me realize how much time I spend on things that don't relate to anything of value hard realization to have buy one beef with this book was the tonality of the actor seems like he was straining his voice to try and be more authoritative and it was just a bit off-putting

Historia
Chronic disease is shortening our lifespan, destroying our quality of life, bankrupting governments, and threatening the health of future generations. Sadly, conventional medicine, with its focus on managing symptoms, has failed to address this challenge. The result is burned-out physicians, a sicker population, and a broken healthcare system. In Unconventional Medicine, Chris Kresser presents a plan to reverse this dangerous trend.

great information
Revisado: 06-20-18
the information in this book is incredibly timely and important. as the reader Chris is tonality is excellent sorry I'm writing this while voice typing overall I think the only thing that could be improved is more stories that help us to understand how functional medicine came to be and maybe how fun functional medicine ended up dominating our current Healthcare System
