Heavy, and powerful.

I've always loved they way Ben writes.. he has a knack for making almost anything feel familiar, as if you are the one holding the pen. This book is no different. While I've never seen combat, or lived through the things this book details, I broke alongside him in these words. Ben is an incredible writer, a true warrior, and someone I greatly admire.
Having already bought 2 hardcovers as gifts, I bought the audio version just for myself.
The narration brings this book to life in a completely new way.

Historia
Last summer, The New Yorker published chef Anthony Bourdain's shocking, "Don't Eat Before Reading This." Now, the author uses the same "take-no-prisoners" attitude in his deliciously funny and shockingly delectable audiobook, sure to delight gourmands and philistines alike.

Classic Bourdain.
Revisado: 12-21-22
Anthony Bourdain was one of my biggest inspirations for becoming a cook, and I still believe there's no cooler job on the planet than being a traveling food journalist. This book felt like going back in time to my own days in the kitchen, and his prolific writing style and unmistakable narration are undeniably nostalgic.
Whether you've worked in the service industry or not, this is a hilarious, graphic, honest, and revelatory commentary on the actual lives of culinary grunts.
I loved every minute of this audio, and I wish Tony was still around to know the true impact of his legacy.
