Historia
Meredith established the Copeton Crochet Collective (no knitters please) because it would be like having friends, only with her in charge, and because there would be no men. It comes as a nasty shock, then, when Luke, the handsome grandson of no-nonsense Edith, decides to stay and learn to crochet.

Historia
In 1631, Sara de Vos is admitted as a master painter to the Guild of St. Luke's in Holland, the first woman to be so recognized. Three hundred years later, only one work attributed to de Vos is known to remain - a haunting winter scene, At the Edge of a Wood, which hangs over the bed of a wealthy descendant of the original owner. An Australian grad student, Ellie Shipley, struggling to stay afloat in New York, agrees to paint a forgery of the landscape, a decision that will haunt her.

Great book but annoying narration
Revisado: 02-21-18
I really enjoyed this book, the story is fascinating and compelling. However, the narrator’s attempt at an Australian accent is dreadful and off-putting to an Australian listener. Would have been better to just speak in his normal voice for the Australian characters.

Wonderful story
Revisado: 05-10-16
This was a fascinating story which wove together a young Quaker woman's experience in America in the early 1850s, the underground railroad and the art of quilting.
I do not like this narrator very much but the story was good enough to overcome that.

Fabulous corse

This was a wonderful course taught by a really engaging professor. She brings the Arthurian legend alive and covers 1500 years of its development in logical sections. I was enthralled.
