Trevor is a great performer and narrator.
But now I know he is a great writer too.
And the story of his life, story of South Africa,- both sad and inspiring. Racial, social, economical, cultural sides of South African history during and after Apartheid, family reltionships, love and hate, humiliation and struggle.... Sometimes I couldn't believe what I hear.... Soooo tragic
Especially white people should listen to it - it's a must . As Trevor once said "you just don't understand how lucky you are because you are white".
This book is very deep, both funny and sad, inseparable from Trevor's voice, languages and his actor's talent.
Real masterpiece!

Сильнешее впечатление. Даже сложно комментировать. Соцреализм, сюрреализм, мистика, мрачнейший сарказм. Книга -диагноз всем последующим поколениям. За русский язык отдельную статуэтку надо дать. Гений.
