Took me a bit to shift from a typical audiobook to listening to what I would equate to a radio production such War of the Worlds or As the Shadow Knows. Loved the story… I am hoping there will be more!

Interesting concept - awful execution!

What disappointed you about Surrender and Submission?
Voice, overall recording quality.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Overall just appealing. Annunciation was awful.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
As I said - interesting concept, but good idea can't over come poor execution. If this author/producer had read very many audible reviews he/they would have known narration is critical.

If you could sum up Back to Work in three words, what would they be?
While this book clearly has a bias there is a great deal solid information about the current economic environment. Much is about the importance of FUTURE thinking if we want future generations to have better opportunities then we have enjoyed. There is no one right answer and moving out of the current situation will not be easy, but we must open our minds and start to listen to each others and get to the table and start debating the options rather then remaining stagnant in political rhetoric.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Chapter 5, company behavior after 9/11 - ethical leadership in business!
