Historia
No one knows exactly when it began or where it originated. A terrifying new plague is spreading like wildfire across the country, striking cities one by one: Boston, Detroit, Seattle. The doctors call it Draco Incendia Trychophyton. To everyone else it's Dragonscale, a highly contagious, deadly spore that marks its hosts with beautiful black and gold marks across their bodies - before causing them to burst into flames. Millions are infected; blazes erupt everywhere. There is no antidote. No one is safe.

Historia
Suffering from writer's block, novelist Rachel Ames escapes to a lake cabin to calm her mind and regain a sense of herself. The location is perfect. Isolated. Beautiful. Inspiring. It even comes with a good-looking landlord who shows an interest in her. But she can't shake the sense that something terrible has followed her to the lake, something just beyond her consciousness, something out on the edge where the sounds of a raging fire and sirens linger whenever she slows down to listen.

mind blowing
Revisado: 11-02-20
1st ever written review. I'm not sure what to say except my throat was half constricted the entire time as I listened to this story and my pulse was elevated as I waited for the next words to be read. I wanted the typical up and down usually associated with stories as they continue the upward frenzy to build crest and then begin. not so here... my heart has only just calmed from listening straight though. A truly unique listen.

Historia
Seattle police detective Joanne Walker started the year mostly dead, and she’s ending it trying not to be consumed by evil. Literally. She’s proven she can handle the gods and the walking dead. But a cannibalistic serial killer? That’s more than even she bargained for. What’s worse, the brutal demon can only be tracked one way. If Joanne is to stop its campaign of terror, she’ll have to hunt it where it lives: the Lower World, a shamanistic plane of magic and spirits.

FAST BECOMING ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS
Revisado: 01-14-20
I have all of the titles in the Walker paper and am slowly working my way through the entire series have enjoyed every book although there are some similarities to the plot line each has a new gift or Insight that is learned as a result of her shamanic power. I love listening to the narration and at first I thought it was going to be 21 toned but I realize that she has so much Nuance in her voice that she doesn't have to have large and bold changes in the tone of her boys in order to impart a different character great listen recommended highly

The New York Times best-selling novel from Garth Stein - a heart-wrenching but deeply funny and ultimately uplifting story of family, love, loyalty, and hope - a captivating look at the wonders and absurdities of human life...as only a dog could tell it.

So wonderful, I am compelled to review
Revisado: 01-04-19
This is the first review I have written a review of, and I am not sure I can give justice to this book. I laughed and I cried real tears, I was so in love with the characters, that I felt they were part of my life.
If ever you were in need of a Book you could not put down, and one in which you were so sad to see it end because you wanted more from the friends you had made while listening to this story, this is it!
I highly recommend this book, and I hope you will feel as touched after reading/listening to this novel.
