I've read and enjoyed the rest of the series and this one did not disappoint (other than the narration)].
I agree with a previous reviewer who suggested upping the speed to 1.2x. Makes it bearable at least.
Poor narration but excellent content. Worth it.

What an excellent book! Valuable information regarding the conflict that you will never read in the NYT, WaPo, or see on the silly cable and network news channels.
Required reading for anyone who is paying attention to this war and taking a position.
The fact that this book could be published at all is encouraging. Free speech content that no doubt is going ruffle the feathers of many of our power brokers and political overloards.

Good book on a fascinating subject, but...

I was excited to see a recent Audible release discussing the partition of India and Pakistan.
But the narrator...
The narrator isn't "bad", but the tone of the reading sounds like it would be more appropriate in a children's book or a novel. Too "cheerful " sounding for a book about an event that left millions dead and even more displaced and could easily blow up into WW3 at any moment.

Excellent! One of the best books I have listened

to in a long time. Ut helps of course to be interested in the subject matter. Fascinating history. Highly recommended. I was a little kid in the 70s when there was always news of "people starving in Cambodia". a great lesson of what can happen if people let ideology overcome their humanity.

In 2021 it's FASCINATING!
A must listen.

Extremely well written and researched. I've been holding off on purchasing the book version all summer long in hopes that it would be released on Audible.
As soon as I made it through the first listen I immediately started it over again from the beginning .
