Historia
Artificial intelligence is smarter than humans. It can process information at lightning speed and remain focused on specific tasks without distraction. AI can see into the future, predicting outcomes and even use sensors to see around physical and virtual corners. So why does Intelligence frequently get it so wrong? The answer is us. Humans design the algorithms that define the way that AI works and the processed information reflects an imperfect world.

Starts off great...... THEN....
Revisado: 09-20-23
His story and perspectives start off great, with vivid descriptions and convictions..... Then, I'd say, in the later half of the book, he goes off the rails with a overconfident optimism; no actual factual data--just what he feels. He criticizes the arrogance of humanity, yet his gleams through in his book.
Trite as it may be, I will comment on this: He is a techie, yet clearly claims the main protagonist in the game Portal(2007) was the first female in a mainstream video game. Minute mistake, I know, but one must wonder what other small details may he overlooked or been incorrect on?
The first half was worth the listen. The rest of the book is terrible.

Even if you’re stressed, unhappy, or highly anxious in everyday life and have tried fixing it before with books, videos, or even a therapist, don’t worry. You’re not alone and this guide can help you like it helped many others. While most other philosophy books will only cover basics and not go into the underlying human mechanics that actually make you tick and feel what you feel right now, this book actually helps you to get under your own skin and systematically create the habits and tools to create lasting change from the inside-out.

Really good stuff from beginning to end
Revisado: 07-20-22
The combination of stoicism and Taoism works really well. One of the best audio books I've listened to on stoicism. Though I will continue to practice being a stoic, I now want to know more about the ways of Tao.

Historia
In How We Can Win, Jones delves into the impacts of systemic racism and reveals how her formative years in Chicago gave birth to a lifelong devotion to justice. Here, in a vital expansion of her declaration, she calls for Reconstruction 2.0, a multilayered plan to reclaim economic and social restitutions - those restitutions promised with emancipation but blocked, again and again, for more than 150 years. And, most of all, Jones delivers strategies for how we can effect change as citizens and allies while nurturing ourselves in the fight against a system that is still rigged.

Valid points made, but contradictory as well...
Revisado: 01-28-22
While Kimberly Jones accurately elaborates on the bad/racist history of this country, she barely shines light on the good this country has done.
She, as anyone should, loathes the negative stereotypes of Black people, but proceeds, consistently, to stereotype all White people.
She labels capitalism as a corrupt system in need of reform, yet has her books on sale via Amazon...... A company only possible due to the freedom capitalism allows.
Good historical info within the book, but the contradictions are quite numerous.
