I went to school, and I learned a lot from this book.

Did not expect it to be so good. This book will not go in depth of every step of per-production production that you would learn a lot in the film school or if you get an experience from real set. As a starting point could be confusing, but for anybody in the film business, or after school it is a good understanding, good tips how to treat people, how to do things.

When you go to school or workshop, they’ll go deep inside what is producers job what tools you have to use and how to produce. What you’ll hear here is very basic information which you would totally get having critical thinking. This book will not be a school for you, it is just general recommendations from personal experience that don’t even go in depth. If you’re just thinking about being a producer, that could be your starting point, maybe to get a general idea.
