annoying female narrator and ripoff.

The story was ok, but I’m not purchasing anymore audio books from Meghan March. For the price, they’re a rip off. She really needs to just write one book instead of 3 parts to one. Also, I should’ve paid attention to the narrators before I preordered. The female narrator is annoyingly breathy. Just read the story and let it tell itself. You’re doing too much. I could barely finish it. Love Meghan but will definitely go to the library from now on.

Good addition to the series

I loved being back at chaos. The familiar faces, and the way everyone’s lives intertwined was awesome. Keely, Black, and Hound’s story was tearfully beautiful. There are a few reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars. 1. Some of Kristen’s circular writing drove me nuts. Elvira just irritated me, and the narrator made Tac sound like a bitch.

Annoying female narrator

Thank goodness for the male perspective or else I wouldn't have been able to finish this book. The story was decent, but the female narrators voice was very annoying. She tried to intentionally sound breathy and it was almost a whisper at times. This is a book I recommend reading.

What does Andi Arndt and Sebastian York bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Realism. I loved the narration. Andi made me fall in love with Rix!

OK story but narration could be better

What did you love best about Curing Doctor Vincent?

The story line was good. Moved a bit slow, but the erotic scenes made it a winner for the genre.

What did you like best about this story?

The plot was unique, and I can't wait to here more about the secret society.

Did Noah Michael Levine and Erin Deward do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Levine was good. Deward was a annoying. She sounded like she was on the verge of crying all the time. I liked the way it was narrated by both narrators at the same time, but the editing needs to be worked on as there was no pause in the dialog, so it appeared as one narrator was always cutting of the other. The dialogue didn't sound conversational; it sounded rushed.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, the hurried narration and whining of Deward made me have to take breaks from the listen.

It was a decent listen, nothing to complain about. However, there really wasn't much to brag about either. The story, the performance, the overall... It was just ok. There were some real LOL moments, but nothing that really drew me in or turned me off. Meh...

Thank good news for River

Throughout this series, I've thought Amber was Ms. Goodie too shoes, and her character continued the theme in this book, but thank goodness for River. His character, his family's strong history, and the experiences in Ireland allowed me to get past Ms. Judgemental and saved the story for me.


The narration was good. At times the narrators lost the accent, but overall, it kept with the flow of the story. It's a solid 4 stars.

Loved the story. Caught up in the lights and glamour, Luke finds himself in the middle of a criminal syndicate of stolen cars. He's young and naive. Clara is a cop who wants to make a difference. Sent undercover to crack the crime syndicate wide open, she doesn't mean to fall in love with Luke. How can they make it through to the end when the journey was clouded with lies?

Would you listen to Burying Water again? Why?

Yes! This story was captivating from beginning to end!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved them all... even Victor! He was the ultimate super villain, Jesse was the the flawed hero, and Alex was the girl who made stupid choices, struggling to become a strong woman.

What about Josh Goodman and Elizabeth Louise ’s performance did you like?

The narration was superb.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Starting off with the near death scene made all the parts moving. I was sad for them before I even knew of them, and as I got to know them, I was equal part elated they found love and saddened that it endured the tragedy.

Any additional comments?

So, I bought this book as a buy one, get one special. It sat in my library, unlistened for a while. All I can say is... I'm so glad I came to my senses and listened.
