This was an amazing book. The narration was brilliant. I cannot believe all that she has gone through. So sad how we all were lead by the unfair, biased press about her. She was treated so poorly. It is a testament to her that she has survived 💜💜 She deserves all good things.

Captivating true story rocked my soul

I loved this book. The story of this family is beyond anything I could imagine. The truths here are shocking, horrible and yet there is always hope. It is a rich story and a history lesson beautifully written. I learned a great deal. The narration was excellent. This book is a reminder - to stay vigilant with our eyes wide open - 💜

This was an amazing book. It made me question so many things and wonder about the true price of fame and worldly admiration. Sad. And yet I couldn’t get enough. Just mind blowing. Great narration.

This book is so real and honest. Hearing Will tell his life journey was an incredible experience. One of the best books I’ve listened to ever. I highly recommend it. Full of life lessons for all of us.

Fantastic

This was such a great listen. The yet again exposure of power, particularly male power, is just so perverse. The narration is really well done and heartfelt. It’s like I was there with her. A harrowing story - too bad it’s all true. Thank you to the women that spoke up, may you someday find peace. Julie Brown - you’re a hero

This is an exceptional book. The writing is beautiful and engaging. I kept yearning for more. It’s a story within a story, a melding of past and present. The descriptions of what happened to the Viennese Jewish people and the Berger family was horrific. Yet, this somehow remains an empowering book. I am not great with words, but the care that Faris Cassell and family sought to find the truth gave me hope in humanity. It is a fantastic experience - a full life experience...buckle up.
