For an abused and terrorized Omega, Liam was awfully cheerful. I mean, all of the time. Also, sleeping outside on a sleeping bag in November must have been hard on a pregnant person. yet Liam remained cheerful. But, the most unbelievable part of the story was that he was simply unafraid of his ex finding him and his child. Come on, most abusers don't let their prey go that easily.
Sigh. There are sweet stories and there are too sweet. Rainbows and Unicorns and angels. The sugar in this tale was just too much.

I really enjoyed the character of Gray. He was bright, kind and utterly sympathetic. Jamie was heartbreaking, his plight totally understandable. But, what about Rohan? Like, where was he? I could not get into his head at all. He was like a stick figure, who suddenly remembered to have emotions when everyone else did. I did not buy his love for either Omega, nor did I approve of his decisions. He should have said no, as Jamie asked too much.

I struggled to finish this. The author failed to convince me that hurting someone is love. That inflicting pain can cement a relationship. Also, the idea of a 40 year old with a 19 year old is unbelievable. Not the author's best work and I do not recommend it.

I found the MCs of this novel quite distasteful. Lucky was far too forgiving and Zach was over the top cruel. He was a classic abuser, just like his former lover and just because he fell for Lucky, doesn't mean he's going to change. I see bad things in their future, as Zach becomes more comfortable being "in charge."
I can only hope that Lucky's parents intervene.
Otherwise, I enjoyed reading about the rest of the family, which is the only reason to buy this. That, and the great deal of research the authors have obviously done into the search and rescue profession.

Too short. I enjoyed the characters very much and was happy Brian found his true calling. Talker on the other hand was left hanging. He deserved to find his path as well. I feel let down.

I think I only stuck with this story because I enjoyed the first two books so much. I found I wasn't cheering for Ford, but cared enough about Cam to find out what happened to him. I think all of Ms. Kennedys books go overboard with the sex. Also, I have a question for the author. Aren't there any nice, matronly women in Pelican Bay?
