Spunky characters with a take no bullshit attitude but alot more sexual content then I am used to in my audio books. kind made me uncomfortable at first but then I just went with it. and honestly the sex helped explain the girls unique dynamics.

This book has more of a modern edge to it than any other Lindsay Buroker book I've read before. with places on earth being the characters point of origin. oddly enough I've actually lived in Prescott Arizona, which is where the main character lives. it of course has tons of fantasy in it. I just finished her kingdom of stars series, so switching gears from fantasy space opera to earth based fiction is a huge shift. but so far I'm a fan of this series

I was hesitant about a male narrator bc I adore vivienne Leheny and cate reading. but Fred Berman did an amazing job!! definitely listen to book 0 the prequel of this series first then dive in. this series grabs you by your shoulders and shakes you until it has your undivided attention!!!!

another knock out series. great characters. not easily guessed plot line. sexy men. just as addictive as all of her series. my favorite is still Death before dragons. I wish lindsay would revisit that series and add to it!! and as always vivienne Leheny did an amazing job narrating this series.
