Marketing as found in most such books
Revisado: 06-09-24
“If you start your landscaping business then this book is for you”
I disagree.
The author Keith said he started with $15. Clearly he could not have had the business plan insurances, permits all the rest of the marketing plans as explained in this book in place with this budget size. The contents are good and correct, everything we all wish for our own business. But there is no special difference here than that found in so many other marketing books. I'm assuming all this contents was generated from bits and pieces from other books. This is not a realistic approach for a new guy to start with.
I can't help but wonder when was the last time Keith actually spent all day on the tools? Does he even have a landscape business? Is this book about selling courses, videos and making a profit from other companies products? I like reading books to learn to get new ideas, but I don't like books that focus on a sales strategy selling products. The First book had a passionate heart and at that stage sometimes Keith was also funny. That made it a good book. This book is not that. It's a book that quickly can be changed, sold and offered to many other types of small businesses.

Historia
Over more than 20 years in business, Bronwyn Reid has seen time and time again how winning one initial contract with a “big name” can be the spark that lets a small company realize its potential growth. But as Bronwyn knows from firsthand experience, becoming a supplier to a large company isn’t easy - and there’s a lot to know and do. But almost everything that has been written about the small business/big business relationship is from the big company point of view.

Good but with vwry limited resources
Revisado: 06-10-23
The book leads you into the right direction, no doubt, the limited info provided is all great. My experience from other good business books is to expect more helpful materials like samples, tables, down loadable documents etc, as to support you in your new knowledge going forward. i was amused to find that although it was described as very important to have a website, it was found that this books website is not operational anymore. In the book, it refers to the website, with indications that some material resources might be found on the website. Instead the web search revealed a website in the author's own name(the only link to this book). From this website it's clear that it's more of a mentor service, which leads to a $2000 cost per month. Guess this may be why no good resources were made available in the book and why the original website wasn't created or removed. if the author's plan was to con you to build interest via means of this book's contents and then to engage you in the mentor services, then my rating for this book will be the low 1 star. When i purchase a business book, it's for the purpose of learning. It's very frustrating spending hours on someone's product and then only to realize you have been led to a lot higher expenses, before you can get to the end of it. For not really knowing the authors intentions, i have opted to stay neutral, with a mid 3 star rating. I'm sure there is lots to learn from the author, however this is only a feeling.

Historia
"Think and Grow Rich" is a motivational personal development and selfhelp audiobook written by Napoleon Hill and inspired by a suggestion from Scottish-American businessman Andrew Carnegie. While the title implies that this book deals only with how to achieve monetary wealth, the author explains that the philosophy taught in the book can be used to help individuals do or be almost anything they want in this world.

High sex drive is needed
Revisado: 06-20-21
if your sex drive is not high them you won't be successful.
the best sales men have all high sex drives. and so it goes on
this author have totally lost it.
I have read many business books and you see good worthwhile similarity points and remarks across a lot of those books. Never have I seen this theory towards good business.
Summary of this book. have a winning idea .see to you have the desire fath and persistent to drive your idea. that's it, it's all you going to learn from this book. this book is a waste of time.

Good to Great

Historia
After a five-year research project, Jim Collins concludes that good to great can and does happen. In this audiobook, he uncovers the underlying variables that enable any type of organisation to make the leap from good to great while other organisations remain only good. Rigorously supported by evidence, his findings are surprising - at times even shocking - to the modern mind. Good to Great achieves a rare distinction: a management book full of vital ideas that reads as well as a fast-paced novel.

Scam beware, way out of date
Revisado: 03-14-21
What got me was that Amazon stated release date year 2020. In this book Jim mentioned written in 2001. No way I would have bought it knowing that this highly priced book., is already 20 years old. Some of the so called hedge hog companies doesnt even exist anymore (bankrupt). From Jim's other book Great by Choice. The SMaC recipe also can't be trusted. Why because there is no way the mentioned level 5 leaded circuit City company had any chance of surviving, the allowed only upto 20% Change. This would not have been enough to over come the problems it faced in the internet age. Online internet sales killed this company. These books cannot be trusted any more in today's new age. The books should have been removed from the market along time back. New revisions should have taken there places. What happened to the passion for teaching? Did more book sales turned into greed?. Shame on the author and Amazon for misleading for more sales
