This is such a wonderful audio book. I purchased it because I struggle with anxiety and I constantly worry about my self esteem, etc. I thought this book would give me peace of mind and I actually go so much more! I love the way this book is written. It's devoted to making you feel good about yourself and letting go of the stress, fear, and panic that a person like me goes through everyday. I'm so very thankful for finding this book and will definitely be purchasing more from author Michelle Galler!

I am so very happy that I decided to purchase this book. My confidence, assertiveness, and self esteem have improved so much from what they were one month ago. Before reading this book, I was so misdirected when it came to having the confidence to work as a team player at work or even in my home life. I've learned the necessary skills from this helpful guide to stand up for myself and sometimes just know the right things to say! Also it is very helpful that the author, Michelle Gates's writing style is so easy and clear to follow that anyone could do it. I really love the style of this book and I would highly recommend it to anyone dealing with self confidence, self esteem or any other emotional problem just like me. Plus as an added bonus the narration by Rachel Perry brought this book to life for me in a way that made it very interesting to listen to on Audible. Thank you so much for making this book and helping me through the struggles of everyday life. I can't wait to see what life holds with these newly developed skills!

I used to get so little done because I had the huge problem of procrastination. I constantly found myself just daydreaming and staring out the window even though I knew deadlines were approaching fast and my job was on the line. It was like an addiction that I just couldn't escape from. I had tried remedies in the past to solve my procrastination problem but I just kept wasting time no matter what I tried. That was until I found "I Never Finish Anyth... by Alan Coulter. This book has taught me so much to better myself and to finally stay on track to my goals and deadlines. This book has helped me so much more than any other advice I've ever received. What made the experience of listening to Self-Discipline the most enjoyable?
The book is very interesting and flows very well as a whole. That is one part that makes it very enjoyable. Secondly, Charles Wells's narration of the book was also very easy and soothing to listen to. His voiced really matched the topic and flowed very well with the subject of the book. That makes a very big difference with the comfort of listening to the book.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Self-Discipline?
One of the most memorable moments for me with this book is when I made the connection with the author. The book is very well written to the point that you feel like you are talking with a close friend. It really brings you in and makes a solid connection with you to make you feel welcomed and understood.
Which scene was your favorite?
It is incredibly difficult to pin down one favorite part of the book. The entire book was so very helpful to me that I love every page. The entire book links each separate topic together so perfectly that the book will truly help you if you are struggling with developing good habits and achieving your personal goals.
What insight do you think you’ll apply from Self-Discipline?
This book has certainly taught me to maintain a higher level of self discipline in my everyday life. It has brought about a new light on me to help me learn to not voice every thought that I have. It has truly increased my self discipline along with very useful tips to develop good habits that lead to a better mindset and a higher self worth.
Any additional comments?
I highly recommend that you purchase this book and read or listen to it from cover to cover. This will certainly help you out if you struggle with learning self discipline and setting and meeting your own personal goals. I've struggled with this behavior for years and I am finally on a path to removing this behavior from my life. I am a long way from being complete but this book certainly got me moving in the right direction. I plan on reading more books by Jennifer Alison as some titles I've seen look to be very helpful with my personal struggles and I recommend you to do the same. I am so lucky to have found this title and will continue to work on my personal behavior because of this inspiration.

Would you consider the audio edition of How to Talk to Anyone to be better than the print version?
No. Either way you choose to get the info in this book, it will be very valuable. I was helped tremendously even though I listened to it. The narrator was very knowledgable and heartfelt so it helped all the better.
What other book might you compare How to Talk to Anyone to and why?
I could compare this to several other books written by Jennifer Alison. She is so very helpful in each of her books that I've read. They all helped me out in their own unique way. I am so thankful to come across her entire line of books.
What does Rachel Austin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She breaths life in the book. It's one thing when you are reading a book with the voice that's in YOUR head but when someone else reads it to you through an audiobook it adds an entire other dimension to the book. I really felt like Rachel Austin is knowledgeable on this subject. She is really not reading it for the money, she is reading it to help other people who need the help and really engaging the listener in her own unique and compassionate way.
What insight do you think you’ll apply from How to Talk to Anyone?
I will continue to apply the skill of not putting myself down. That was one aspect that I really struggled with. I always put myself down and noticed my every imperfection in the mirror. This book has really continued to teach me to value myself and realize that everyone has flaws. It's surely taught me to be less critical of myself.

I would like to recommend to anyone struggling with these issues to purchase and download all the title written by Jennifer Alison. It will really help you with your everyday life and ultimately teach you to look at yourself in an entire different light.

Understanding, Positive, Uplifting.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I couldn't pick out a single "character" to say that was my favorite. I enjoyed the seamless way the book flowed and connected the dots that were missing with my low self esteem. I really loved the overwhelming message of loving yourself more.
What about Heather Tuya’s performance did you like?
Top notch voice actor. I enjoy a narrator who is well grounded and knows what they are talking about. SO many times I will hear a narrator on Audible that narrated a book that they really didn't know much about. Heather's performance couldn't be better. Her narration just made to the book that much better.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I would have to say the beginning is the part that really moved me the most as it was discussing many of the issues that I was dealing with. It really engaged the reader with a sense of understanding and relatability. I have to say it was a top notch book.
Any additional comments?
Honestly, it was the best money I've ever spent on an audiobook. I received SO much helpful advice from this book. It has changed the way I look at myself and they way I value me. I no longer have to look to others for approval. I can finally just accept myself for who I am and to stop noticing my every flaw. I feel 100% better about myself now as I look into the mirror each day. It totally changed my outlook on life. Highly recommended!

What other book might you compare Social Anxiety to and why?
I honestly wouldn't compare this to a book at all. This is more like taking a complete multi-stage class that will help you with social anxiety over the course of many weeks and months. This book is unlike any book I've read before. I felt so engaged with the author and connected. It was like she is there to help YOU and ONLY you!
What about Rebekah Amber Clark’s performance did you like?
I loved the composition of the book. It was put together beautifully. You never once felt like you were unsure of the advice that was given. I felt like Rebekah really poured her heart and soul into this book to really connect to the readers. I felt like I was talking to a close friend when I was reading this book. It's totally an experience like none other.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. Although I couldn't listen to this book all at once but I really wanted to. I would find myself listening to this book and just not being able to put it down. I wanted to stop but the author's style of writing and expression just kept me reading and reading on and on. Even when I felt tired, like after a hard day of work, I just couldn't stop reading it. It was so helpful in my struggle of overcoming social anxiety that I think I am the least anxious that I have been about social behavior in my entire life.
Any additional comments?
I just want to commend the author of Social Anxiety for the continued hard work and the dedication to her readers. I really felt as if I was having a deep conversation with a friend that was helping me through a difficult time. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to overcome social anxiety in any sense. Thank you for the opportunity to read your great book!
