Historia
Now in a second edition, this classic book shows how to make conversations generative and productive rather than critical and destructive so people, organizations, and communities flourish. This edition has been revised throughout with new examples; updates on the latest supporting research in neuroscience, positive science, and positive psychology; and a discussion guide. It also features a new chapter on what the authors call tuning in: cultivating awareness of how our physical and mental state affect our perceptions, emotions, and thoughts as we engage in conversation.

Book filled with concrete examples how to use the positive communication with individuals, teams and organizations, when being honest. Beside examples useful in personal life as well as at work I like also the research behind notably in relation to ratio positive / negative communication ( for best teams 6/1).

Historia
There is nothing more essential to our health and well-being than breathing. Yet, as a species, humans have lost the ability to breathe correctly, with grave consequences. Journalist James Nestor travels the world to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. The answers aren’t found in pulmonology labs, as we might expect, but in the muddy digs of ancient burial sites, secret Soviet facilities, New Jersey choir schools, and the smoggy streets of São Paulo. Nestor tracks down men and women exploring the hidden science behind ancient breathing practices.

Breath to prevent many societal diseases
Revisado: 12-01-22
Deeply inspiring book about breath with many concrete examples of what is and can be done to improve our blood pressure, anxiety, resistance or even decrease the impact of allergies and asthma (among many other possible benefits). I am not ready yet to test the heavy breathing that can keep us warm in the cold, however this and other examples make me willing to care more about my breath quality and speed. Thanks also for the exercices in the end of the book.

Touching story about men, nature! Tough story, tough conditions where sweetness and kindness radiates !
Revisado: 03-11-22
I enjoyed the story line and the tension since the beginning [Rose][Rose]. The reading style fits well with the story - I like to listen at 1,2 speed for more action or at 1 speed to be carried touchingly through the story.
