One of the best
Revisado: 08-01-23
Over the past several years I have read/listened to quite a few self-help type books. This is easily one of the best that I have listened to. Your Breakthrough is well organized and easy to comprehend. The topics were thoroughly explained without going into so much detail to bore the reader. The stories and examples used maintained high level of interest and contributed to further understanding. The author gave a lot of great resources and tools for the reader to use in their own journey to success. I highly recommend this book to anyone striving to be more successful in life.

Historia
In this “vital, necessary, and beautiful book” (Michael Eric Dyson), antiracist educator Robin DiAngelo deftly illuminates the phenomenon of white fragility and “allows us to understand racism as a practice not restricted to 'bad people'" (Claudia Rankine). Referring to the defensive moves white people make when challenged racially, white fragility is characterized by emotions such as anger, fear, and guilt and by behaviors including argumentation and silence. These behaviors, in turn, function to reinstate white racial equilibrium and prevent meaningful cross-racial dialogue.

Worst book I’ve ever heard
Revisado: 12-10-20
Absolutely terrible and dangerous view of the world.
Changing definitions to make your point of view right destroys context of history.
The author stated her own racism as a basis to prove that all white people are racist.
If you deny racism, you are racist. Everything must be thought of in terms of race. Not thinking on terms of race is racist because it’s a privilege only for whites. So operating off of ones merits rather than race is somehow racist.
