Historia
When he catches his fiancée in bed with another man, Jackson is set adrift on a sea of hurt and confusion. A lonely raft on the tossing waves of heartbreak, if you will. Good thing that Alexis—the cheating wench—previously booked two non-refundable tickets for a romantic cruise on the Sundance. It was supposed to be a sexy four-night Mexican getaway with wine tastings, duty-free shopping sprees, couple’s massages, amazing food, and long nights tangled in the sheets of a deluxe cabin with a sea-view balcony… all paid for with Jackson’s money.

Cute, but wished for a little bit more 😊
Revisado: 10-27-24
Note*
Not sure if some part of my review can be considered as mini spoilers or not (and I couldn’t find a “spoiler” box to check just in case) so read if you don’t mind it, it’s nothing major though just more little hints maybe.
I think this story was pretty sweet and cute, but it does have some problems in it.
Jack comes of as kinda a bit misguided/ miss intended racist in some areas during the story (misguided, is that the correct wording for it), especially when taking about the ship staff and I didn’t like that much at all, so it kinda soured the story for me a bit. The descriptions about the staff is quite rude (and I think there should be a warning about it before the story).
It’s kinda surprising with the language and word choices Jack uses since he is supposed to be a junior associate lawyer (he sounds more like a 18 year old fratboy most of the time, rather than a 27 year old lawyer), and I don’t understand why the authors choosed for him to use the word “boy” for everything (describing guys/ men, himself, Diago) instead of male or man, it got a bit repetitive and slightly irritating after a while, even switching it to “guy/ guys” sometimes would have been nicer.
Diago was very cute as a character, though I wished we got to know a bit more about him (kinda wished the story was dual point of view, just so I could get to know his thoughts). He seemed strong, sweet yet kinda insecure at odd moments (makes me wonder about his past), but but otherwise a sweet boy (yeah I know I used “boy” 😘 .
Though he could be kinda rude at some points as well, and kinda quick to anger( and liked to waste expensive dinners 😅 ), though Jack did kinda deserved it bit as well, since he was a bit clumsy and spacey 😅
The ending though, it sadly felt a bit rushed up, like they ran out of space or something and cut of a big chunk of it and patched it up best they could, it felt like a lot of it was missing.
It had sooooo much more potential for some extra romance stuff! I was a bit sad it ended.
All in all I would definitely still recommend the book, it is sweet and the naughty bits are very nice and sweet!
I kinda wish for a spin-off for this book, I still want to read more about these two love birds 🥰
The narrator did a good job, and had a quite nice pitch of voice. I could hear a faint hint of an accent in some words and it made be a bit curious what it could be from, I found it a bit charming 😊
( Sorry if there are grammar issues, spelling mistakes or word switches, I’m dyslexic and English isn’t my first language, I tend to mix up British and American words, especially when writing).

Utter perfection
Revisado: 03-13-24
And finally we have Daniels (and Rory’s) story 🥰
Moulded and reshaped to become bravest, kindest and most loving man he could ever wish to be, through the respect, tender care and strong love of the people who surround him.
The sad, broken and hurt little boy found by his forever family and his greatest love.
Beautiful ❤️
Sheena Jolie (SJ Himes) is by far my most favorite author, and this series is my very top favorite.
It has everything a good story and series need:
a great back story, a continuous story and world development throughout, awesome characters and character development and more.
There is a good balance between the ebb and flow of the story all throughout, the slower bits, the action, some angst, strong love, and of course naughty bits (which we all love I’m sure 🥰😘 )
The performance by the narrator Joel Leslie is awesome as usual, though I have not had the pleasure of listening to many of the books he’s narrated, but with the books I have listen to I can safely say I love his voice, it truly brings the characters to life and he has great control over it.
He speaks clearly with a good phase with the ebb and flow of the story/stories.
It makes it easy to relax and follow along with the story being told. Because of my dyslexia some narrators makes me kinda anxious and stressed with their narrating style being quite fast and words not being very clearly spoken (words kinda slides over each other and you speak faster and faster) but Joel don’t do that, he has a great phase to listen to, and his voice is rich and deep in the good places of the story befitting the characters styles.
Loved every second of this audiobook ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Highly recommend it and this whole series, absolutely can’t wait for the next coming books!!

Short but sweet
Revisado: 02-21-23
A short sweet story with some unexpected added heat.
Narration: 4 ⭐️
Michael Dean narrated this short story by Gabbi Grey, he did a great job with it .
Great energy and heat when the situation called for it. Clear smooth voice, with a nice depth to it. Very nice to listen to.
Story: 4 ⭐️
This short story, as one would suspect jumps straight in to the story. Cadence and Marcus are good characters, I like the vibes they have between them.
Definitely which they had a full novel and not just a short. Marcus is surprisingly sweet, like a big muscly teddy bear 🧸 .
Definitely recommend this toasty short, perfect to make your chores at home much more interesting and fun doing 😃

Sweet and comfy little story
Revisado: 02-03-23
Narration was awesome, Michael Ferraiuolo did a great job. He has a nice soothing voice and great tempo and energy flow while reading. He’s always great at matching his narration, the tone, energy and passion according to the book he’s reading. He also managed to make it easy to distinguish the different characters he’s narrating which is awesome.
Story:
If you want to listen to something with no real angst or high passion but like mpreg (male giving birth), and something sweet and cosy this is the story for you. It’s perfect to listen to before bed or while doing the daily choirs at home. It’s relaxing and sweet, no real angst just very brief moments of it, short moments of sweet passion. There isn’t too much world development here, since Cornelius (warlock) and Mathew ( fae, omega) are mostly staying at home during the story, it’s just a little bit of being out at the beginning of the story.
I would actually say this book could even work for 15 years olds and up, since the “passion” bits aren’t very wild, but more on the tame side.
Overall a sweet book 😊

Great continuation of the first story
Revisado: 07-26-22
This book was great 😊
I loved the first book, and this was a great continuation of the first book, which later evolved to its own story.
We get to follow the birth of a love between 3 wounded strong men, that learn to trust, respect, love and care for each other. The 3 of them forged a strong bond through the hardships they go through.
Great work of the narrator as well, smooth voice, lovely and easy to listen to. Would highly recommend!
