Historia
Have you ever wanted to visit Machu Picchu, or witness the Northern Lights? To explore remote landscapes where no boot has tread, no shutter ever snapped? You can.... Before he became Green Giant on the Appalachian Trail, Gary Sizer was a Marine, a computer nerd, and a guy with a problem. No matter how much time he spends outside, it's never enough. Whether being thrashed by drill instructors at Parris Island or drenched by a squall in a high tundra, the same calming thought always prevailed: It's good to be outside.

Historia
When Geraldine "Gerry" Largay first went missing on the Appalachian Trail in remote western Maine in 2013, the people of Maine were wrought with concern. When she was not found, the family, the wardens, and the Navy personnel who searched for her were devastated. The Maine Warden Service continued to follow leads for more than a year. They never completely gave up the search. Two years after her disappearance, her bones and scattered possessions were found by chance by two surveyors.

A must read for any AT hiker
Revisado: 01-17-20
I plan on hiking the AT very soon and am so happy that I listened and have already invested in the maps but am also looking into a compass and training on how to use it. I can say that this book is well written but in parts becomes hard to follow with such technical information about missing person searches. I am so grateful that this book was written and will take the lessons to heart. I will stop and nod to Inchworm's memory in the area.

A Christian trail hike
Revisado: 09-25-19
I have listened to a few Appalachian trail books and this one is good and is very heavy in the Christian bellerive in God. The author's personal story of his loss of his wife and his then path to God is enlightening.

Revisado: 06-29-19
Loved the story from start to finish. I had a hard time stopping the story at the end of my commute, would honestly sit in my ca6t for 30 more minutes. Worthy Appalachian trail read but not information, but some, but a trail story none the less.

Historia
Bryan Cranston landed his first role at seven, when his father, a struggling actor and director, cast him in a United Way commercial. Soon Bryan was haunting the local movie theater, memorizing and reenacting favorite scenes with his older brother. Acting was clearly the boy's destiny - until one day his father disappeared. Suddenly destiny took a backseat to survival. Seeking something more stable, perhaps subconsciously trying to distance himself from his absent father, Cranston decided on a career in law enforcement.
