Thrilling

This was a strong, thrilling, emotion-filled sequel! I worried about how many plots were taking place, but they all tied together at the end beautifully. I found myself getting lost in the story the entire way through the book. I highly recommend reading this shortly after reading Carve the Mark.

Kept me invested!

I loved this book just as much as all the previous ones in the series. there is a lot of character building and story building that I find is crucial to the story. It still has a lot of action, but it also has some incidents and information revealed that made me dive further into the story because of how much I felt invested into it.

I was gripping the edge of my seat the whole time through this book. I sobbed at the end. Excellent read! I highly recommend if you need something exciting that has you guessing the whole way through!
