Mike Kelly, undercover for the Department of Prohibition, enlists the help of Martin Sinclair to halt a big rum runner boss, Tony Amato. The description of Cape Hatteras, puts you there. Oh there is romance tossed in as well between Mike and Martins sister Ava. There is also a kidnapping. I highly recommend this book as I do all of Carol Nemeth’s books. They all are very so well researched, that you want to go visit the areas yourself.

I have this book to read and listen to it is the first in the series. It is so very well written. The narrator reads it very well. There is danger excitement and of course romance. I loved it.

I loved these three books in this box set. Story was really good, I could see this happening now. The person who reads the book did an awesome job. I could understand him and he made listening a pleasure.
