Historia
Many years ago, Vic Zarley was a three-year student/teacher of a spiritual self-help book known as A Course in Miracles. He had no idea the course was not biblically correct because of his New Age indoctrination. After his first wife died of breast cancer, Vic met Eva, his next wife and Christian mentor. He was strongly guided by the Lord and his new wife to drop the course and study God's word.

“THE MOMENT I STARTED READING THIS BOOK, IT GAVE ME A RELAXING AND PEACEFUL FEELING I HARDLY EXPERIENCE ESPECIALLY WHEN I’M READING NONFICTION WORKS. JUST AS THE TITLE IMPLIES, THE BOOK IS FOR CHRISTIANS AND ALL THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN SALVATION AND A LIFE OF ETERNITY AFTER OUR SOJOURN HERE ON EARTH.
THE AUTHOR DID A GREAT JOB OF PASSING ACROSS HIS MESSAGE ON HOW TO LIVE A WORTHY LIFE AS A CHRISTIAN, BY USING RELATABLE ILLUSTRATIONS. SIMILARLY, IT WAS WRITTEN LIKE POETRY SORT OF, AND IT MADE READING IT ALOUD QUITE ENJOYABLE.
UNLIKE SOME OTHER CHRISTIAN BOOKS I HAVE COME ACROSS, A COURSE IN CHRISTIANITY ISN’T JUDGMENTAL IN APPROACH YET HAS FAR REACHING EFFECTS AS IT TENDS TO GIVE LOTS OF FOOD-FOR-THOUGHT THROUGH MESSAGES THAT WERE PASSED ACROSS IN A SUBTLE WAY.
DUE TO THE WAY IT WAS WRITTEN, A COURSE IN CHRISTIANITY BELONGS TO THE CATEGORY OF BOOKS ONE WOULD HARDLY GET TIRED OF READING, THIS IS BECAUSE EACH MOMENT OF FLIPPING THROUGH ITS PAGES TENDS TO GIVE A NEW INSIGHT.
It is certainly a book every believer of the gospel should have.”

Historia
On Christmas Eve, 1818, in a small Austrian village, a local Catholic priest and a church organist composed a Christmas carol that changed the course of holiday music forever. Exactly two hundred years later, it’s not the holiday season until you’ve heard “Silent Night” in the car, at the store and on TV – all in the same day.
In Jingle Bell Pop, John Seabrook, acclaimed author of The Song Machine, takes us deep inside the holiday music business. We go behind the scenes to meet some of the producers, songwriters and recording artists responsible for the timeless tunes we hear on repeat between Thanksgiving and Christmas every year.

Not Bad.
Revisado: 12-10-18
Pretty good but a bit unorganized. A lot of jargon that only songwriters could understand. Would have liked more song examples.

Poignant, Touching, Feel-good (G-rated), Moving

This was one of the best hour and seventeen minutes I've spent. Sharon Washington vulnerably put her childhood with all her emotions, on the line for us to see. And, personally, I could do nothing but smile and appreciate her memories, her realistic accents, the characters that made up her family, both extended and distant, and her wonderful imagination. I strongly desire that we could somehow discern when an audible recording was going to be this good, free of "language" and sex scenes. I would love a rating system. God bless Sharon Washington. May she produce and write many more excerpts from her life.

A REAL Human Being Out of Hollywood?
Revisado: 07-21-18
Dick Van Dyke has never let his celebrity influence his ego. He enjoys sharing his comedic talent with the world (whether they enjoy it or not). Sometimes he slurs his words a little which caused me to lower the performance rating, but that can be expected when you are up in years. I want to applaud his life. He has always desired to make movies and television programs that he could safely watch with his children. What a concept! Thanks, Dick Van Dyke, for the way you've chosen to live and the masterpieces you have created (Mary Poppins, among others). Very enjoyable!
