The entire series was lackluster. The author cluttered the volumes with filler. There were a few high. A couple of interesting characters. But the absolute worst ending of any books I’ve ever read. I can’t believe the editor accepted that. It’s like playing an entire DND campaign only to have all of your characters get killed at the end by something completely random. Will not read another word written by this author. Considering boycotting the publisher as well.

Worst narrator ever!!!!

I drive a lot and consume audio books. I have yet to come across a narrator so bad as this one. I get they were going after that old west feel. But this guy is yelling at you one second and whispering the next. The words in his hillbilly impersonation were hard to understand. I’m certain this book is probably pretty good. This narrator ruined it for me. Had to turn it off chapter one. This guy was horrible.
