Shocked Zoe
Revisado: 04-26-25
I really do enjoy this series. The only one I have not enjoyed was book 15 and I think that’s more my own assumption of what it was gonna be. The one thing I can say agitated me or I just didn’t understand is why in the world Zara would make a huge life changing decision and not even talk to Zoe who is the most important person in the world to her. In case you haven’t read it yet I won’t say what it is, wish there was a little bit more Zoe in the story altogether.
To be fair though, I’m not really sure about the Zara Zoe mother daughter relationship sometimes they seem extremely close, but then Zara is doing all kinds of things not much communication was Zo kind of like Zoe is an afterthought

Not my favorite so far
Revisado: 04-22-25
It pains me to say that this was not my favorite book. You stick with a series for 15 books you know you love it.
After book 6 about what Zinnias was up to well Zara was running around. I was excited when Angela said that book 15 we would hear from another character. When I got to book 15 and I discovered it was mother I was excited like finally we’re gonna find out what she was doing for those five years we’re gonna get more of an idea of who she is maybe I’d even end up sympathizing / liking her. NOPE
A portion of me not liking it may have been my expectation that it was going to go back and explain some stuff kinda like zinnia story did. The time loop was interesting. It was just too long for me. I do think that Xavier and Zakia fit well together. They both come off very woe is me throw me a pity party I’m a nothing victim mentality. So them developing a closer friendship and possibly build each other up and making each other better as nice but overall it was just too long for me.
excited for book 16 and I do truly love this series

Selfish cry baby lead
Revisado: 08-26-24
Book one was intriguing laid out a good story plot. Book 2 I am 10 chapters in and all she does is wine and boo-hoo for herself. I can understand being upset to lose her human life, but the 10 chapters of her just going on and on about how life’s not fair for her is becoming very irritating. Now she’s wanting to run away and care less that people are gonna die and think they can just find someone else, even though it took them hundreds of years to find her. She seems extremely stupid and selfish, doesn’t think things through really hoping that it turns around because in book one it was a pretty good plot.

Push past the first few chapters & it gets good(ish)
Revisado: 01-13-23
Absolutely enjoyed the fact this was not and all consuming sexual, relationship, ditzy lead.
It seems lately every book I pick up is about A lead being absolutely consumed with thoughts of sex and always having four or five more “ mates “ they would have a good storyline but it gets lost. I enjoy a relationship, I enjoy some sexual tension but not when the whole freaking book is about it. It was amazing to read these two books and actually get a background to the characters learn their personalities try to figure it out which relationships we’re gonna blossom to more.
The downside to it as it does take some patience because it does drag out especially in the beginning.
Also not sure how I feel about the ex vampire becoming human thing and actually has a nice spin. Honestly can say I have not read a book that has taking the approach of changed creatures reverting back to human but born creatures stay genetically the same. makes a lot of sense that it would work that way

Not my cup of tea
Revisado: 01-06-23
if you were triggered by sexual abuse and things along that line skip the book.
Lately it seems all books have just become about multiple mates. Oh I don’t mind sex and books. Extremely dislike when that’s all the book is about. Hell Fifty Shades of Grey had more of a story. Then the books coming out now… I do have to say that I like the fact that there was a backstory for Kenna also more of a story plot then just sex all the time. The last book I read the lead character only thought about sex even in the middle of battle or taking a trial all she did was think about sex. I really value the fact that Kenna seemed real who had thoughts and opinions and not just oh fuck me fuck me… The story does have that just overall is not my cup of tea I would have loved more information about the queen and her getting away and so on,
I understand she had a traumatic background and I loved getting to know her and what drove her BUT and she was captured by the SOB I really wish there wasn’t as much details about what he was about to do to her kinda maybe after he took her away could of skipped back to her men getting saved and then hearing The man screaming as he was caught on fire then she told them that she burned his ass…

Desperate lead character
Revisado: 12-14-22
Honestly grateful that this was a free book on audible. Would have been extremely upset to waste and credit on it.
All the stories seem to be about was the fact that this lead character is extremely horny and perverted. There are four men who she is sexually obsessed with. If the author would have given more depth to the relationships and why her magic brought her to each one it could’ve been more enjoyable. It seem like there was a very good story underneath all of the perversion sexual tension that you couldn’t really get to it or connect the dots because it was a little everywhere and overshadowed because every single time she was having a conversation we just talked about her fantasizing sex with whoever she was talking to.

The whole series. 5 books
Revisado: 12-07-22
I was not sure in the beginning of book on how much I would enjoy this book. Obviously I ended up very interested in the story. Love the fact that it was not only focused around a love story and sexual intent but there was a lot of thought put into the individual characters and the overall “big bad” of the series. My favorite part was the fact that the characters obviously had love interests but they stay true to who they were as individuals not just consumed with a lust or love of another. I love Amber having morals and vulnerability in that character staying true to that all the way through. If you’re looking for a good story that’s not just full of sexual intensity this is a good one it’s got a little bit of everything

Revisado: 10-07-22
Still an absolutely horrible story. I’m sorry I don’t like to be negative. I barely made it through books 1 to 3. I will say that in these three books they’re actually started being a story.
None of the characters are likable Dante still is the only one with the personality. Although with the Fang you start to learn a little bit more about him which is nice. As far as the rest just shallow nothing to them.
I love the fact that there is actually a mission and things going on in these books although the situation with Jared took way too long and there was a lot in there that didn’t need to be there.

I don’t want to be negative but horrible
Revisado: 09-19-22
The first two books had no plot, wish they would have gone more in detail about what they really stand this The secret agency. The only character that you get to know or has a personality is Dante. The romantic interest has no detail that makes you care about either. All the girls are whiny bit** withOut having a background to make you understand them. There also no big thing they are against.
Basically definitely written like these are every day high school students and exactly how they would act in the situation. Nothing special or unique about any of the characters.
Book 3 got a little better story wise, with 3 big things to work on. Taking out a vampire Organization, discovering that mulcher and the agencies really about, protecting Aurora‘s family and getting back her partner.
Wish the writer would have broken these three things into the three books. The only reason I finished it is because I’d like to finish what I start and hope that it gets better.

After reading all five books. The storyline was not spectacular. I did enjoy it though. What really was stinking awesome Is the ending is not at all what I thought was gonna happen.
