Jin Rou wanted to be a cultivator. A man powerful enough to defy the heavens. A master of martial arts. A lord of spiritual power. Unfortunately for him, he died, and now I’m stuck in his body. As Jin, I’m a man of the earth. A wielder of shovels and lord of rice and wheat. And sure, I also had to die and get pulled into another universe to end up here. But guess what? I’m starting to think it was worth it. I’ve somehow managed to get away from it all.

Break The Rocks
Revisado: 12-21-24
NGL I've never had 3 words make me geek out while listening to audible. I refuse to spoil it, but if you are into good guys being bad ass when fed up, that moment rocks. Pun intended lol.
This series continues to get better as it goes along. The world building keeps getting cooler. And the character development is amazing. I only wish there were more like this. And the VA is A+. If you are a fan of cultivation isekais and humor, you should read this.

Max was murdered, but now he is mostly over it. Living on earth as a recent college graduate, he can still perfectly recall his past life on the fantasy world of Albion before that. He'd been hailed as the "Hero of the World" after crawling his way up from poverty, eventually enjoying great fame and luxury. But on mana-starved Earth, he's just a guy.

One of the strangest good/bad stories ever.
Revisado: 12-11-24
I'm not going to waste your time, so I'll just come out and say it. The first 4 fifths of this title are great. The problem is obviously the ending. The author decides to take an extremely hard left turn at the end. And it doesn't feel earned at all. It's like the author had a plan. And towards the end thought, "wait, this is a much better idea," and dropped what was currently happening to go a completely new direction. it was very very strange.

dreadfully dull story and MC
Revisado: 12-11-24
I tried to like this, I really did. The main character describes herself as a B word. And she is. That's pretty much the story. People try to help her throughout the story and she constantly pulls out her girl power card and does nothing but cause trouble. How does she deal with this trouble? Clever planning or thinking? No. It's constantly I'm a girl and these much stronger men and women fear me just because my glare is so intense. Come off it. The whole story starts off great and the rest is a dreadful bore. I even tried listening to the beginning of the sequel to see if it ramps up. No such luck.

Revisado: 07-15-24
Decent performance by the VA. The story? Not so much. I'll cut to the chase, this story is plot armor and plot hole city. Not to mentions boring and predictable. Characters grow powerful not through their own ingenuity, but the stupidity of their opponents, or plot armor. The writer hasn't learned how to write a plot yet. So instead nonsensical and stupid things happen to progress the story. I was very disappointed.

Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

I never heard the other VA so this one did a phenomenal job as far as I can tell. I'm new to the entire series. I was very skeptical, but it truly is well written, filled with life and humor. Each of the characters feel like actual people. I can now understand why the fandom is so large.

Reidon Ward's first semester at the Galens Institute hasn't been without reward. In just over half a year he's gone from the weakest cadet at school to one of the strongest in his class, and there's no one left who would argue that his Device, Shido, isn't the most terrifying CAD they've ever laid eyes on. Still, Rei knows that his climb has barely begun, like he knows that the true fight is only just starting. After all… The Sectionals tournament has arrived. Rei, along with Aria, Viv, Catcher, and a couple unexpected squadmates, are about to face the first real battle of their careers.

the author continues to make me love these characters
Revisado: 11-15-23
I rarely say this, but I loved everything about this entry. The author continues to make these characters feel like real people, not facsimiles of people. And the VA continues to breathe life into them. Each character continues to develop and the dynamics between characters continues to grow. If you love books that make you feel like you are mentally watching a season of a very good show, this book is for you. Awesome bread crumbs are left everywhere. I am so excited for the 3rd entry. Beware the cliff hanger though. It's a doozy and the author says we won't get the next entry until 2025.

"No killing Goblins." So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours. It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.

worst protagonist ever conceived
Revisado: 09-24-23
if you're looking for a book about a whiny isekai protagonist who refuses to adapt to the world she finds herself in, you've come to the right place. if you're looking for a good book, sorry you wasted your money. Get a refund if you can. what everyone says about hoping she dies is 100 accurate. I gave it 10 hours hoping she would improve. No such luck.
I only gave it two stars because the narrator is talented and it's not her fault the writer made garbage.

As old allies turn on each other, as an unassuming presence in yellow walks the lands of dreams, as an empire falls, a group of people is gathered to fight the threat that the rest of the world decided to ignore. Even as everything burns, and the chaos consumes the core, some are willing to act. Whether for their own self-interest, or just because it is the right thing to do, they are the only ones that can stand against the greatest threat their world has ever seen.

Einstein or Jesus?
Revisado: 03-08-23
I finally found a good analogue for the main characters. Zac continues to be my favorite character, as like Einstein he reads about everything he does, researches and practices it to death. Then creates a plan.
Ryun continues to be the least interesting character. As he remains cultivation Jesus. Whatever he decides he wants to do, plot armor continues to be how he does it. Theres no mystery to his character at all.
I like most of the characters, but the author insists on amateur hour world building and progression. the series is named infinite realm, problem is, infinite apparently means born yesterday in this series. Ryun makes the most basic observation and these beings who have been around for hundreds and thousands of years have never heard of it. Essentially like this.
Ryun : I think water is wet.
Everybody : I've lived for hundreds of years, but no one has ever said that. Ryun you're a genius.
I'm exaggerating, but not by much. Get used to that type of writing throughout the title.
I personally just skipped the majority of Ryuns sections.
otherwise it was a good read. there are some interesting reveals which set up an interesting future. Unfortunately Ryun continues to be the series' worst character.

New faces and new threats arise as everyone converges to the same territory, and the entire world is watching. But the Infinite Realm is a cruel place, and sometimes, people forget that the beings that created it have their own agenda.

Incoming. author sucks Ryuns d!ck like a porn star
Revisado: 01-19-23
How? such a simple question, but the author goes out of his way not to ask Ryun this. Zac flat out asks Ryun why he killed infants. literally tearing off their heads while they are in their mothers arms in some cases. Ryuns response? They were in my way. And the author leaves it there. For some reason never asking the simple question, hey Mr OP guy HOW exactly were infants in your way?
This was by far the worst book in the series. "hey Ryun dont feel guilty about cutting your best friends defenseless daughter in half and killing his wife in addition to millions of innocents," is the theme of this book. I've never read about a more hypocritical piece of sh!t character in my life. "I want everyone to make their own choices and live their own lives, that is my path." except the millions i killed for no reason on earth. lets just forget about that.
"it was a mercy, they wouldn't have survived in the infinite realm."
hey dumbass, they take 10,000 people from every planet chosen. you killed, or were directly responsible for the deaths of all but 1 person. it wasn't mercy, you're just a psychotic garbage character, whose author refuses to address how sh*t of a character you are.
Zach you should forget about everything ryun did as well. and while I'm at it. this might be the infiinte realm and everyone has been alive for thousands of years, but everything Ryun says is the first time anyone ever thought like that. everyone should bow down and suck his d!ck immediately.
this was a huge waste of time and absolute trash for long stretches, primarily the Ryun parts. thank the universe for the other characters that exist outside of ryuns nonsensical OP worshipped character. if you liked the other characters introduced, this book talks about them more. I just fast forwarded through all the Ryun d!ck sucking. you should too.

Revisado: 01-09-23
At one point Zach asks Ryun why he brutally murdered children who were barely old enough to walk. Ryun replies, "They were in my way." How the **** were toddlers in your way?! f**k that dude, Zack can't kill him fast enough. Luckily Zack is finally gaining in the power he'll need to kill this child murdering hypocrite. I've started to skip Ryuns sections, he is a carp character.
