Could not finish! The Narration was horrible!
Revisado: 11-13-14
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I think I will read the book to avoid the horrible narration.
What was most disappointing about Charles Sheehan-Miles’s story?
I am sure that it's a great story. I have never been disappointed by one of his books.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jack Wallen and Alana Rader ?
Anyone would do a better job.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
First I think that Jack Wallen sounded a little too old for Crank.
The main reason I hated the narration was due to Alana Rader. It sounded like she was in her bathroom recording herself. You could hear her swallow and move. She paused at strange times and she changed her tempo quite a bit. I had to give up on the book because I couldn't focus on the story. I was annoyed listening to the narration.
Any additional comments?
If possible the audiobook should be re-recorded by new narrators. It was really bad.

Historia
My name is Colton Calloway. You've heard part of my story, but it turns out there's more. My little girl, Kylie, is all grown up. Seventeen, beautiful, and talented, just like her mother. And just like Nell, my daughter seems to have fallen for a bad boy, one with a lot of darkness and a lot of secrets.

Just Average

Would you try another book from Jasinda Wilder and/or the narrators?
I have read several books by Jasinda Wilder. I will continue to read them. As for the narrators......NO, I won't listen to another.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
The ending was predictable.
What three words best describe the narrators’s performance?
Overly dramatic OZ!
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Probably not.
Any additional comments?
I think that I may have enjoyed this book more if I read it instead of listened. The two male narrators were not well suited for Colt or Oz. Colt didn't sound like the bad ass guy that I imagined in the earlier book about him and Nell. As for Oz, he was so sappy and dramatic sounding at times. It felt more like a cheesy romance novel that would have Fabio on the cover. It was too much!! It was very distracting for me.
Overall the book was not great and not bad. It was enjoyable, but forgettable.
