Julia Whalen has been one of my favorite female narrators for some time but now she's definitely one of my favorite authors. Her voice, to me, is as soothing as my favorite male narrator. I loved this storyline. I loved how Julia brought each character to life. She's incredibly talented. She never fails to delight me!!

Luanne G. Smith NEVER disappoints!!

I loved the first 3 book that she published. When I listened to the Vine Witch I was hooked. I couldn't listen to The Raven Spell fast enough and now, at the same time, I'm truly sad that it's over. The narrator chosen for these books has the perfect pitch which adds something (I'm at a loss for the right word) extra to the storyline. I'm very much looking forward to the next book in the series.

I laughed, I cried...

I *ALMOST* passed it up and I'm crazy happy that I didn't. I LOVED this story. I next to NEVER leave reviews about books, audio or written. This one touched my heart and that's saying A LOT as I'm incredibly cynical. I truly did laugh and I truly did cry. I'm not giving away anything about the plot except the narrators brought these people to real life. I enjoyed every damn plot twist. SO!! FOR ALL THE HOPELESS ROMANTICS OUT THERE... Here's a story especially for you!

I was pleasantly surprised to find there were 2 more books following The Vine Witch! I'd really enjoyed it and I KNEW I'd enjoy the following 2 as much.

JA Huss, DAMN GIRL!!

while I'm not one to rush through a book, or a series as it were, JA Huss just keeps me eager to the very end. Impatient. Desperate. I insert myself into these stories and become her characters. This is one of my favorite series. So, at first I was not crazy about the male narrator voice. But as I listened on, he acted his parts so well. Ultimately, I came to enjoy Vaughn's voice. I found myself at times wanting to shake Grace and ask what the fuck is wrong with you. At other times I felt for her. I was satisfied with the end though.

TWISTS & TURNS & SECRETS GALORE!!

I very rarely give a review of books bc I'm simply not good at it. But Johnny!? Lord ALMIGHTY. I lusted after Johnny the whole time and, perhaps I still am. I'm not going to throw any spoilers out. I held my breath more than once during this story. I got frustrated at times bc I couldn't wait to hear more. 🔥 HOT HOT SEX 🔥!! Surprises and a laugh or 3. I'm a junkie for a series and this series is NO exception!!!

I yelled at the female lead...

I'm new to Louise Bay books. So far I've really enjoyed all the stories I've listened to but I'm noticing a pattern in the plots. All of the female leads are terrified of some painful event. Now that's all fine and well but their fears kinda get redundant and they go on for too many chapters. Otherwise, I've enjoyed the storyline of all of her books. The author seems knowledgeable about the various types of locations and vocations for her books and characters. I've not yet struggled to finish a story but I do get a little frustrated as I've previously mentioned.

for ANY Anna Zaires story. I'm downloading the next book as I type! Anna Zaires characters are so well built. the narrators chosen for this story give life to Emma and Marcus with such spot on accuracy. amazing. love it.

maybe I just didn't like the narrator's voice, or the plot or the storyline. I rarely give a review let alone a bad review. maybe this book is better reading material than listening material

Karen Cass is a PHENOMENAL narrator! She makes every character real. Claire McGowan loaded this story with twists, turns and loops. I couldn't stop listening!
